DAUGHTRY Hangs In
UPDATE: Soundscan numbers are in–DAUGHTRY sold 156,000 and came in #3 behind Incubus and Hannah Montana, respectively. DAUGHTRY total sales so far are 459,000. Soundscan numbers are compiled by Nielsen from retail, mass merchant, and online stores.
The Hits Daily Double numbers are in. DAUGHTRY hangs on to the #2 spot behind the Incubus debut album. Daughtry sold 149,879 physical copies this week–a 50% drop off from last week. Compare that to Jay-Z who sold 708k last week, but only 133k this week. He dropped down to #5 on the chart. His numbers decreased by 81%.
If DAUGHTRY produces some radio hits, this album could have legs.
