Congrats to Elliott.
I noticed that Time of the Seasons by the Zombies is also at 41 on the pop singles chart at iTunes. I heard Love Song by 311 on the radio today. I call that the “Blake Effect”.
Go Team Plaid!!
too bad it wasn’t lovesong by the cure….
Wow! That’s great to hear. GO TEAM PLAID!
I have a feeling Blake will be very successful when his album comes out. He is so radio ready.. Can’t wait for his record whether he wins or not!
Blake effect indeed…
way to go katharine! guy was really onto something with the music video in theaters
Hopeful, if his performance of Love Song this past week had any effect on sales for the single, we will see it with the numbers that are released this coming Wednesday for last week. Numbers for a particular week are published the next week.
I pointed it out earlier today… like Kirsten said (at least I think it was her), say what you want about Blake as a singer or performer, but he gets people out to buy the music.
Also, I posted this in the daily chat, but I dunno who will see it… April 11 is Blake Lewis Day in Bothell, WA. We totally need to have a blog party. :D
Oh, and GO DAUGHTRY! See you next Saturday in Orlando!
GO TEAM PLAID!!!
Watch out everyone, the April Fool’s jokes are abounding on various websites, lol. (AOL spinner had me going on the Daughtry split and Sanjaya shaving his head…thank goodness they had a disclaimer at the end, because I was not not awake enough yet to realize what day it is, lol.)
Sounds good to me, Sarah. We just need Team Plaid tshirts.
Hey Team Plaid, did you guys see the gift breakdancingfish left in the comments for the Chris Sligh elimination post?

Thank you for returning, MJ! :)
Team Plaid!!
Congrats, Elliott. Your CD is really growing on me.
I don’t think it was just the movie theater thing for Katharine. Her song was also featured on The Hills not that long ago.
