Back from vacation.  More stuff courtesy of Sucks, Miranda and thespoilerai.  Thanks guys!

One way to figure out whether somebody has made the Top 24/44? apparently, is to see if their name has been registered by NETNAMES, a UK Registry.  NETNAMES registered the Top 24/44? from last year.  The following were registered by  NETNAMES on Dec 9th (right after the Hollywood rounds).  Kudos to mkbdiva and the others who are doing the research and digging these up! :).

April Walsh - According to thespoilerai, who left a comment here and posted on the AI boards, “met her–she’s a quirky throwback along the lines of Bette Midler. I think she sang a Bjork song at her audition. Very funny girl but average vocals”  Heh.  Maybe we found our perennial Red Haired Girl! :).

Brooke Barrett Smith

Taylor Hicks - I’m assuming he’s not this guy, unless the “28 year old man but not” guy from last year somehow slipped through ;).  AI’s Taylor Hicks is registered like other contestants whose domain names are already taken, with ”official” tacked on the end– www.taylorhicksofficial.com

Kellie Pickler  -  (Pictured left).  Hmmm. Blond singer.

Chris Daughtry - Rocker from North Carolina.  In a band called Absent Element.  I think he’s the bald guy from this picture (right)  See my latest entry for more information.

Anonymous Source at slimtainment.com is also keeping a list (and has linked to me a few times…thanks!).  He has a long list of potential Hollywood Contestants posted on his site.  I’ll probably only post info pertaining to possible top 24/44 contestants at this point, unless I have info on a potential contestant that looks promising.

Like Torah (left).  No confirmation if she’s made the Top 24/44 yet, but apparently there are lots of rumors.  You can find out more about her here.  She’s only 16 and released a single as PammyK when she was only 11.
