What’s Up With Elliott
Micheal Slezak who writes the Popwatch blog for EW.com, posted a little piece about Elliott Yamin today. No news to report at this time–just a question. When is this guy going to get a record contract? We all want to know the answer to that one.
Slezak also posts links to You Tube videos of Elliott and the Little Memphis Blues Orchestra performing ”Use Me,” “Little Ghetto Boy,” “I Believe to My Soul,” and “Whipping Post,” at the Virginia state fair last month. I’ve seen them. They’re good. Definitely worth a look.
And speaking of LiMBO, the former Taylor Hicks Band, Shirley Kennedy of the National Ledger posts Part 1 of her interview with LiMBO here. Brian Less (keyboards), Jeff Lopez (horns), Sam Gunderson (guitar), and Zippy (drums) talk at length about how the band came together. Good stuff.
