A Christmas Message from David Cook
David Cook must have been having fun celebrating the holiday, ’cause he posted his Christmas message (and a little shameless self-promotion) a few days late…
OK, as I write this, I am putting the finishing touches on gift wrapping for the first time in literally 3 years. Ità ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s been amazing just to be able to buy gifts this year, as opposed to convincing my brother to throw my name on things, and Ià ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢ll pay him back. (Which I never couldà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ¦). By the way, Ià ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢m still holding out hope that he forgot about my little IOU, so keep it to yourselfà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ¦
I certainly hope that each of you have an incredibly happy holiday season. Eat good food, get some cool stuff, GIVE some cool stuff, but most importantly, enjoy the time with the ones you care about. The oneà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s who let you show up to Christmas without presents and still love you all the same. It makes it all the sweeter when you finally get to pay them back for their patience. à ¢Ã‹ º
See you guys in à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢09.
~D
P.S. à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬’ If youà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢re looking for something to fill that last little space at the rim of the stockingà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ¦. Thereà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s a certain album by a certain person that may fit perfectly. (DISCLAIMER: FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE HINTà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ¦ THE SELF-TITLED ALBUM FROM DAVID COOK IS ON SALE NOW!!!!)
Sorryà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ¦ had to be done. Happy Holidays, guys.
The repeat of David’s Saturday Night Live performance airs tonight on NBC, and he’ll be performing on New Years Eve Live on FOX, December 31, 11 pm.

Aww, I bet this Christmas he was extra generous with the gifts too since it sounds like he’s making up for the rough financial times in his not too distant past.
That blog gave me a visual of David up to his elbows in wrapping paper, ribbons and bows and it cracks me up, lol.
Well, like his song goes, “Better Late Than Never”
Any message from DC is always appreciated.
AInoob, I had the same visual! LOL
Merry, merry Christmas Dave :smile1_tb:
Awww, I love his shameless self promotion! So happy that he’s doing well and finally in a position to give back to his loved ones. It’s not Christmas anymore, but Hanukkah is still going on, so “happy holidays” still applies.
I gifted everyone I know David Cook this Christmas and everyone loved it. It has been a great year for him and hopefully will continue to be great in 2009. It is so nice that he takes the time to message his fans in spite of his busy schedule. No doubt his blog serves the dual purpose of keeping in touch with his fans and also promoting his career. I don’t mind that.
That is so weird to think that he couldn’t afford to get gifts the last few years. I’m glad life is working out better now!
