I will be posting acoustic diddy’s here and there and new songs i am working on for my new record. I have been so lucky to work with some talented people. We are hoping to have the record done by Thanksgiving. Hopefully the single will be ready in November and the record in stores Jan/Feb.
Im going back to OZ in October to do this big charity event called Telethon. Its so important to me to give back as much as i can. All of us Idols are big on that idea. There may be a chance i get to play an acoustic show in Sydney too.
After that i get back to play a private show with Carly in Vegas. We would love it to be for the public, so sorry guys. Then a really cool thing that i hope you guys can get to is on Oct 25th i’ll be doing a show at Atlanta Motor Speedway for the Pep Boys 400. I will also be singing the national anthem on ABC. So keep your eyes and ears out for updates.
MJ has an ambitious timeline for that independent release! But I’m looking forward to it– I do hope it drops sooner rather than later.

Well, I cant wait to see anything MJ puts out after hearing that excerpt from a song he wrote. I will definitely be seeing him at the races, my husband is a bigger race car fan than I am an Idol fan. Can you say Jeff Gordon, as I sit here in our computer room looking at him everywhere(well he gets a corner of it,I allowed that much) Jason needs to show MJ how to vlog too, I bet those would be entertaining but not half as sweet as Jasons
OMG tooooo cute, you all have to go onto that website and check out the video of he and his fans, funny – “i saw a video of all the stuff I do, No wonder I am soooo tired”
MJ – he mentions Rickeys – hey – we all need to get him to mention you – I have tried Rickeys a time or two but navigating around that site is harder – I like the set up here and all the people.
A vlog would be nice. It sounds like he got a Mac from fans. :smile1_tb:
I just joined his myspace – and I really am surprised to find I like his songs, I wanted to add It Too Late but couldnt find it on playlist. It is touching, maybe about someone he lost?
Put me in the camp of those who can’t wait for Michael’s album to be released. It was nice to finally read something from him, but can you imagine what a vlog of his would be like? Come on MJ! Record a vlog!! His fans bought him a Mac? Wow! Seems like this season’s Idols are hitting the jackpot.
