Ace Young told Fox 25 in Boston this morning that Target and Best Buy stores have already sold out of his self-titled debut album, Ace Young, but more or on the way! He dropped into the FOX studios after his record release party and meet and greet at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut last night.
After a brief interview, Ace performed the song, “You Redeem Me”. The Diane Warren-penned ballad suits Ace perfectly.

Thanks mj. I dont know how many cds shipped but alot of fans cant find the cd/dvd combo at target. I bought two and the only two yesterday at my target store. I dont know if they had more or that is all they got. Walmart isnt even carrying it except in a few select stores.
also his cd is number 22 on itunes rock albums and 94 on the overall sales chart on itunes
Wow. That was awful. I think those new shipments of his CD might just be sitting there if folks listen to this first. Hopefully it’s just the 2 hours sleep. I liked him on the season 5 tour. The song itself isn’t bad. Maybe his voice is tired?

I got the only CD/DVD combo left at my Target on the way home from work last night. I have no idea how many they started with. There were no CDs left, either. It’s great to hear more are on the way.

I guess I have been spoiled by listening too much to the richness of both David’s voices.. that was quite shocking to my system. That said, with more instruments and a better setting, I could like that song.

I wasn’t an Ace fan in season 5, but I really enjoyed him on the tour - he put a lot of energy into his performance. I do wish him much success even tho this particular display didn’t knock my socks off.
Ace was partying in our hotel room last night with about 60 High rollers. He could not possibly be a nicer person. Even Rickey was there!
Please go to itunes and listen to a sample of this song. He left the hotel at 5 am with basically no sleep. He shouldn’t be judged by this performance. I heard people in the crowd last night say they were not a fan, but as soon as he was done the concert they were in love! Ace is magical in person.
The CD is really good and his reviews have been terrific!

I didn’t like Ace that much on the show, outside of his obvious beauty. After the show I first started liking his way with the fans, but his songwriting is really pretty darn good. I too am more accoustomed to, and prefer the vocal richness of the Davids, but there a bit of love left for Ace. I too hope he outsells Constantine, just for snarks sake, :)
Ace is such a sweet and good lookin dude. Imagine if he had those looks and Archuleta’s voice.
Good God that was painful. Good thing Ace is pretty, cause that was one awful tune. No problem, I can tune him out and just admire his good looks. Who needs a voice? He dont need no stinkin’ voice dammit.
Not a fan of his voice at all but my daughter wanted his CD since he was her second fave during his season so I went looking for it last night. I live in NY and I struggled finding it. The local Best Buy I had asked and they only got 3 copies in. I finally hit on it in Target and they had one copy not even in the new release section but in the Pop section filed under “Y”. Constantine had better inventory and display.
I was one of the fans who got to hang out with Ace at the Mohegan Sun a couple of nights ago and we did have a blast! Ace and Marion are the best.

I downloaded from itunes, but I also tried to get the DVD version from my local Target. No luck. I’ll try a different Target next week. One of the Best Buy’s in my area (I searched a ten mile radius) had it, but not the DVD version.
Universal/Fontana are idiots. I mean, first week sales count a lot and if peeps can’t find it…
That was horrible. Ace isnt even that good looking to me anymore. Maybe its because Ive been exposed to Jason Castro who I feel is more talented in singing and songwriting and better looking.
