i want all the adam music i can get, and his voice sounds great on this song, but it is not what i was hoping his first post-idol release would be.

Question, does anyone know how long The American Idol Concert usually lasts. Still debating if I want to pay that much when I only want to see 2 or 3 people perform.

I remember Kris looking to make eye contact with Adam when Scott was rambling on about himself once. I thought, Un huh, the two of them are on the same page about this guy.

I totally caught that look! LOL. It was exactly the look you give your best friend when someone you both aren’t crazy about is rambling on, just the quick side-eye.

Okay, that Want song is pretty addictive. I can’t stop listening to it. His voice sounds fantastic. And you know, the more I think about it the more I can see something vaguely similar to this ending up on the “real” album. Adam did say he wanted some ballads on there.

The song was o.k. better than a lot of other crap out right now, that’s for sure.

ETA: Never mind. I just saw that Seacrest added the info. from Perez that it’s an earlier recording. I still really like the song and will definitely buy the album. But like a lot of you said, I think Adam’s “real” album will have a different sound.

Those are much better “first singles” in my opinion!

Come on then! Imagine Adam’s colors of Blue and Silver in Dallas Cowboy land !!! My daughter and I are planning outfits that combine the best of the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders with the glitter of The Fierce One (I’m leaving the boots to my 13 yr old – and I’m “handling” the Boobies! lol)

Dallas will be awash with blue and silver glitter (and black nail polish, of course).

About 8 months ago… this kid Adam Lambert finds me on Myspace and says he wants to do a track with me… So he comes down from LA to San Diego and we bust out a vocal session over an instrumental track I had done a few months prior. Well, I got caught up producing another bands album all year, so I never got a chance to finish up the song on my end. Well, as some of you may know, Adam Lambert is now in the top 13 of this year’s American Idol. He’s kicking ass too. So, if he even comes close to winning, the song I did with him will blow up just by association alone. Cross your fingers and make sure to vote for him!

Adam wont be getting any money from the label releasing this song so Im not buying it. Plus, the song isnt that great, I agree very repetitive.

Thanks for the link. The longer interview segments puts things in better context.

Also checked out the other extended clips on Access Hollywood, especially the interview of the rest of the top 10 shortly after the finale show. You get a better sense of their camaraderie. Both Danny and Michael said very complimentary things about Adam.

Hmmm, a lot of comments posted by gay men on the blogs said they donà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t find Adam attractive. I guess they donà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t appreciate Adamà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s beauty like we do.

Uh, he’s #16 on the 2009 AfterElton.com Hot 100. I think that would indicate a lot of gay men find him attractive.

Apparently, this album WILL be released this summer, which we thought was VERY quick. However, weà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢ve just learned that the songs on it were recorded in 2007 and 2008, before Lambert was on American Idol.

Ità ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s being released by a label other than the one he signed to after he came in 2nd on the show.

Wonder what he thinks about a whole album of old material being released????
