I still feel bad for Adam, but it’s encouraging to see him being so positive after the interview. One thing’s for sure, it’s gonna be hard to top Adam in future seasons.

Buderschnookie, I echo every “hope” that you listed there. I would also add that I hope he never ever EVER loses sight of or faith in his dreams, and I hope that he realizes & never forgets how many people all over the world have fallen in love with him and cannot wait to see & hear what he does from this point onwards.

The first day I was just numb with tears behind my eyes, today I am so SAD!! Even with the videos and the knowledge that he is better off in second, it is just so wrong on so many levels, if this truly was a SINGING talent contest. The Kiss/Queen performances were like Adam’s own concert, in fact I was wishing Kris (who was off key) did not even have a part in the Queen song. Brian May kept looking at Adam with excitement in his eyes. I would have loved Adam’s interpretation of the whole song because when he started his part, I got chills and thought, “Freddie is back.” As far as Gene Simmons comment that Adam isn’t a rock star…..hmmmm jealousy maybe. Adam was THE ROCK STAR!! And boy did he look terrific. So I am sitting at my computer, looking at the blogs, trying to get past this travesty and get some kind of life back. I really am not going to watch Idol next year after this fiasco. Besides, I have already seen the best.
