Adam Lambert Billboard Cover Interview: New Year’s Rockin Eve and Barbara Walter’s Interview Coming Up
Adam Lambert and Kris Allen are on the cover of the next issue of Billboard Magazine. A Q&A and video is posted on the Billboard.com site for both Idols.

An excerpt from the Q&A below. Read it HERE. (Good news: Adam will appear on New Year’s Rockin’ Eve and will be one of Barbara Walter’s Most Fascinating People of 2009. And if I’m reading correctly, he will be closing act Sunday night at the AMAs)
The interview took place right before the 2012 premiere.
The title track-which was produced by Dr. Luke, who co-wrote it with Claude Kelly-is now being worked to top 40 and hot AC radio. “I wanted to release something that would be played in a club, that would make you dance on New Year’s,” Lambert says.
He means that literally-”Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve With Ryan Seacrest” is one of the TV appearances lined up for Lambert in the coming months; the campaign starts Nov. 22 with his show-closing performance at the American Music Awards. Besides the typical rounds of morning and late-night talk shows, Lambert will be interviewed as one of the “Most Fascinating People” of 2009. “Adam is so telegenic. It’s going to be a visual launch,” Corson says.
A video for “For Your Entertainment” is forthcoming. It’s directed by Ray Kay, who did the video for Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face.”

RL may not be all that interesting, but it is very encompassing. They are around every now and then, but terraj and Sunn are a bit out of our time zone. Of course, they do appear from time to time on PF in the chat room.
BTW I dd not realize that Mj had installed a smell icon. That’s kinda of smelly. Of course, we know all the fans here smell like roses.
ETA: Hoppersskippersminers has added man candy to the carpetbag. A new flavor just for Adam fans. I am sure that it will be cross genre just like Adam. Taste buds ignite. Of course, if you don’t like Adam, I suggest that you pass on the sample. I would hate to have anyone go through an earwax sample.

The morning shows are MOBBED the wednesday before thanksgiving….there are tons of kids in town to perform in the macy’s parade and they ALL seem to go to watch the mornings shows on wednesday morning….
Well since I’m still annoyed at John Mayer’s numbers from last week, I’ve decided that Adam will out sell him. Put me down for 325k-350k. There’s no money on this, right?
Oh, and I wouldn’t call any of the numbers we hear predictions. They’re all just guesses as far as I know.
If Adam’s numbers are predictions only: I’ll say, for sure, that he sold at least (1), mine…and probably 20 or so from people here who have posted. After that it is a crap shoot, especially since his single has (as being reported here) bitten the dust and died! [snark...snark]
Hopefully he will sell a 100,000 his first week, will go gold eventually, and will be platinum before his “next” album comes out.
What would be considered a disappointment in the 1st week? 100? 150k? 200k? 250? Im afraid if Adam sells anything less than 300k, many would consider that a disappointment and predict he gets dropped by May.

I was really excited for the GMA appearance since I live less than 10 blocks away. I figured I could just roll out of bed and head on over for 6:00am. LMAO! I guess that’s not going to happen if people are starting to camp out the day before at noon. Oh well, so much for that idea.
