Adam Lambert, Danny Gokey and Kris Allen are all home today filming their hometown visits for next Wednesday’s results show.
At some point today, each will receive a text from one of the judges revealing the “judges choice” song they’ll be performing on Tuesday’s Top 3 performance show.
Danny Gokey just recieved his text from judge Paula Abdul he’s set to sing “Dance Little Sister” by Terence Trent D’Arby. That’s a tad bit obscure, no?.
A local media person just broke the news on twitter that the judges picked “Apologize” by OneRepublic for Kris Allen. Knock me over. That’s actually a decent pick for Kris. I was sure they’d saddle him with something horrible.
Anyway, watch this space…I’ll be updating the spoilers as soon as I receive them.

Just listened to the U2 & MJ Blige duet version on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhCcdLwGeA0 and this has got to be the version (with a few Adam twists) for Adam. It gives you a flavour of how fabulous Adam could make it. Ladies line up for the pool of abdul seats!

Yes, “Wicked Game” has the same haunting melody as “Mad World”. Adam should be amazing on that. The problem with “One” is that it is a song that goes nowhere – it never builds – it has no moment.

it is very clear that adam says “i just got a text from simon”, a gentleman hands him a mic, and then he says “it’s one by u2″.
so that might help clear things up.
i just recruited two teen-agers with at&t who do nothing but text so i’m going to give them the numbers on tuesday……just doing what i can.
