Adam Lambert Debuts “For Your Entertainment” on Ryan Seacrest
FINALLY! The wait is over.
Adam Lambert will debut his new single “For Your Entertainment” on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS FM radio show Friday morning at 6:55 am PT.
Adam tweeted the news earlier tonight: @AdamLambert Gonna be on Seacrest tomorrow morning to debut single “For Your Entertainment” on the radio.
And Ryan added the deets: @ryanseacrest 6:55 am pst – stoked!!
Adam’s debut album For Your Entertainment will be available everywhere, November 23rd.

In addition to not feeling “cheap” (MY opinion of the cd cover), I think this single cover is intriguing in a way that the cd cover isn’t. I think that’s part of the reason I like it better. Mystery.

They both have FYE on the front so it can be interchangeable on an ipod. I want both myself.
It’s a much much better cover to represent Adam Lambert and his music. However, controversy is what attracts attention and many times drive sales.
In all cases, the music is what counts the most. If it’s good enough then I will buy his CD and promote it to my friends.
Can’t wait to hear his first single. Looks like TFM is just a bonus track.
I’m sure someone will say the hand was photoshopped.

Interesting thing about the cover: I’ve heard several people who barely know of Adam (never really watched AI) telling me about hearing about the cover on the web. It definitely got people’s attention who wouldn’t even be following Adam otherwise.
One friend of mine emailed to say “the cover is weird”. Two emails later she said: “But it’s made me interested in what his album will be like.” I think it has done its job

The single cover is, indeed, beautiful and fierce and iconic and all of that. I love it. It’s what I would have expected from an Adam album cover.
And if it had been the album cover, it wouldn’t have generated 300 news articles, much less made the WSJ or CNN. There would have been some in-bubble squeeing and that would have been that.
Love it or hate it, the real cover did its job well.

I needed to replace the tour pictures (lovely as they are) to fit the post-tour Adam period 
His eyes are so incredibly sexy in that picture!
FYE is Number one on Amazon in Bestsellers, and Rock and POP AND Movers & Shakers AND New Releases !!! It’s up 700%! Thank you Oprah! I guess that cover is really hurting sales.
mamadeb: I read that somewhere about the album cover. 300 news articles AROUND THE WORLD! A video was on my comcast home page for 24 hours. It was POSITIVE! At the end the reporter said, “That’s Adam Lambert for you”. It’s funny how Adam’s name is standing on it’s own now. (no American Idol or runner-up title)
The single cover is great! It only accentuates his contrasts – its the opposite of the cover.
It doesnt standout in a shelf or in amazon page like the cover. Perfect for the single! Cant wait for the music!

This day couldn’t be more exciting. Awaiting the single and drooling over the single cover. I think this one will get across the board thumbs up (s?).
The downside is having to listen to Ryan’s show while waiting. But I can DO it!

Nah Perez sites her cover cause she’s wearing the same type of ring things, but I think hers are COVERING her body. IDK I haven’t looked at her cover very hard but when I saw the ring things it reminded me of her cover too.

The single cover is soooooooooooooooooooooo much better than the CD cover, even with its resemblence to Rhianna’s. But I am a little bummed be cause I was hoping against hope that they would make the CD cover into the single cover and launch a better one for the CD.

I love this cover for Adam’s single! I can’t get enough of those beautiful, mysterious eyes looking out at ya! I, also, loved the album cover….and it did what it was suppose to do…get everybodies attention. And I can’t get enough of FYE, it keeps playing in my head. I am just so excited and happy for Adam and what’s ahead for him. He deserves it!
