BONUS!!!! Begaylittlebird.com has a BRAND NEW full press shot of Adam HERE.
Adam Lambert is shooting the music video for his single “For Your Entertainment” today (Nov 15) at the Alexandria in Los Angeles. Lady Gaga director, Ray Kay, will helm the production.
From eye-witness reports, the vid incorporates a bondage theme, with Adam looking very “fierce”.
Update: What stalkers, spies were able to glean from the shoot:
The set design is “destroyed ballroom”, extras wearing bondage…nearly naked male extras greased and gorgeous…bondage girls in studded leather…striped lawnchair, cherub pedestal, champagne and Buddhist statue…Adam about to film in women’s bathroom with lawnchairs, sand, plants…
The place has the feel of the hotel used in the ‘Shining’ creepy but beautiful..Omg guy with his ass fully exposed and collar and chain collar. And awesome make up…instruments and tuxedos…Adam with “really high” hair, cool metal/leather gloves and a long black trench coat
Also, the paps showed up, so expect photos to hit the net later tonight or tomorrow…
Twitpics of nearly-naked dancers: Here, here and here.

Adam look great in the pics…but the real important question for today is why in the heck is there no AOL Streaming of Adam Album….Hello!!!!!
OK, I gotta laugh a little here. I’m delighted for the Adam fans that they’re delighted, and I wish the guy the best in every way.
but stuff that used to be considered soft-core porn is now, obviously, mainstream or something. And to me it’s kinda like a chip off the old Madonna — who played around with leather and bondage images eons ago.
It’s going to be interesting to see if, going down this path, Adam pleases more fans than he alienates. I’m not so sure Moms are going to be buying this album (and this persona) for their pre-teens for the holidays…
Based on the 30 something Moms and their preteen daughters I see walking around my malls this video ain’t nothing new to the Moms or their daughters.
The Gene Simmons stuff IS old news. Let’s stick to new topics.
I don’t think they would have, anyway. The pre-teens want the Justin Bieber album.
In response to what someone said about Adam doing Christmas songs:
I remember one of the more recent red carpet interviews, someone asked Adam if he’d be doing Christmas songs, to which he gave a somewhat pained/shocked face (Kinda like what Kris did after he told Jim Cantiello his wife was cool, heh) and shook his head. When the person asked why, he said “I’m a Jew.”
Personally, I’ve always wanted to hear him rock-wail out on Hava Nagila just because I think it’d sound awesome, but that’s just me.
And yeah, as a straight guy I’d worry more about the straight male crowd than the overly conservative crowd because straight males can be taken way more seriously. The overly conservative crowd will probably do something similar to what BOR did and call him out for being gay/sexual and they’ll end up just getting laughed at by smart people. Straight males won’t be ridiculed as much, but the video is bound to do bad things to our hormones (a.k.a. our souls)
Then again, I’m the type who dismisses the overly conservative crowd as a generally laughable people, I may be underestimating their power. But I still wouldn’t care about them in terms of Adam.
I am so proud to say that my recently minted teen daughter and her friends don’t like Justin Bieber at all and prefer Adam Lambert because he is a great singer, is much more interesting, and is certainly not boring!!
You are probably right thought for many of the pre-teens, however.
It’s funny how much my daughter and I like crazy Adam so much. She thinks Music Again sounds great “because nobody but Adam could sing that” but she thinks “WWFM” is boring because “anybody could sing that kind of song.”
She is very definite in her preferences. I actually like WWFM, but I prefer crazy OTT Adam because that persona is so much fun.
“I’m not so sure Moms are going to be buying this album (and this persona) for their pre-teens for the holidays’ ¦”
This mom and her many teens will be enjoying this music together, it is going to be fun dancing around and having fun too – we dont “psycho” analize every little word – just have fun with it. Last weekend we all enjoyed Daughtry’s new CD -
Nothing about ‘bondage” that Adam’s stalkers/fans say – all about sexy is what was in the news article today. that’s good, cause sexy is sizzling and bondage is ick, yuk, puke.
If Adam wants to push boundaries with songs that can be interpreted as being about sex and videos about bondage then send him over here to the UK … in general we don’t seem to be bothered by it … after all we had no problem with Frrakie Goes To Hollywood in the 80’s … you just have to look at the success of “Relax” and the video to see that it did them no harm at all in regards to record sales and popularity. … and their lyrics were far more explicit than Adam’s
Can’t speak for moms with pre-teens but as the mom of a 15 year old she’s been very clear that she wants Adam’s CD the minute it comes out. She thinks he’s gorgeous and loves his voice.
I’m hopeful that moms of pre-teens (meaning 12 and under) understand that Adam’s a 27 year old MAN and that he’s not supposed to be catering to their children with his music. Nor is he supposed to censor himself for their comfort. that’s what Disney music is for.
Don’t knock being tied up until you’ve tried it LOL… there is bondage and then there is S&M.. and there is a difference and there are varying degrees within each kink.
these extras look like some of the dancer/performers from Burning Man…nothing shocking. should be a fun video.
Adam needed American Idol. Period. He was on the backside of his 20’s and had yet to “make it.” With the Idol juggernaut fully behind him, Adam was seen by millions worldwide. And moreso than with any other contestant in Idol history, Idol allowed Adam to “do” Adam as much as was humanly possible given the constraints of a US commercial TV program. Indeed, vis-a-vis Adam, Idol is to be praised; not eschewed.
I don’t think Adam is shooting for the pre-teen market. There’s already so many, Miley, Jonas bros., Justin barber, Emmy lovatto….list goes on.

Uh, ok. But isn’t there something between Disney and chains, butts and leather? There’s plenty of great music for all ages — and I’m not talking the Jonas Brothers here, but U-2, Coldplay, David Cook, and many others…
But I guess I am sort of a fogey, because Madonna did change everything. I’m not sure for the better either — not for offending anyone’s morality (I don’t give a damn), but for toying with very sexualized images, nudity and reveling in trashy theatrics. It’s just for fun and not hurting a soul. It also does nothing for me.
But I stand corrected — here at least, digging Adam appears to be a mother-daughter thing. I can’t help but marvel at this….and find it sort of amusing and somewhat curious…I’m old enough to remember when such imagery was not in the mainstream, unless it was explicitly NOT gay.
Who can explain the rules of attraction anyway? If you and your kids get a kick out of it, enjoy….
About the OUT editorial-I have no way of knowing whether Adam was aware of the restrictions put on his inclusion in the magazine. Obviously, the magazine decided it was worth going along with them to get him in this issue and on the cover. If he did know, I can’t see how they could fault him for making the same decision to go along with it. I get the impression that he is being held to an impossibly high standard.
Perhaps someone will do a study about the extent to which Adam is accepted in the gay male community. My impression has been that he didn’t have a lot of gay male fans showing up at the summer concerts. That actually, Kris Allen had more gay male fans. Maybe they should put him on the cover.
I put the Out comments in the wrong thread and I can’t delete or edit, sorry!
I think kids who talk this way don’t really know what a pimp is. If you hang out with some strung-out streetwalkers beat up by their pimps, maybe you might have a different notion about pimps. Yes I have seen that world, yes I have worked in drug programs, yes I’ve been around. I think kids these days watch rap videos and have a distorted idea of what a pimp is and what a thug is. Hit men are glamourized, mafia, and pimps. (And by the way I’m a lifelong liberal so don’t write me off as one of those “overly conservative” people you guys keep talking about. I’ve never heard that expression before, “overly conservative,” what does it mean? Anyone who has any criticism of Adam or the video is “overly conservative”? Sounds like a way to dismiss other people’s viewpoints.)
Pimps are leeches who live off of women and keep them beaten down. I think many young people have never met or known real pimps, just some glamourized version on MTV.
I think you make a valid point, Oceana. A lot of these images have been sort of neutered through advertising and TV/film romanticizing. I deplore anything resembling censorship. But that doesn’t mean I’m thrilled to see hooking glamourized when, at least in a society that makes it illegal, is often tragically entangled with sexual abuse, drugs, and sexually transmitted disease.
Pretending to transgress in this way is certainly nothing new — look at gangsta rap. The problem is when impressionable kids go from playing with the archetype, to actually trying it out in real-life.
I hate candy-coated sentimentality and fake uplift also, on the other end. but artists can say and embody things that really matter and inspire kids also.
maybe in his own way Adam is doing it by virtue of coming out, and sending the message to kids that it’s OK to be who you really are — and it’s ok to play with different looks and flamboyant fun. but I guess it’s up to us other adults to say, as a real-life option, hooking and hustling are very bad career moves….
Man in a long black coat + gold tipped cane and gold rings = a fallen angel (from FYE lyrics). Dark temptation by the wrong things…
yea, bluelens — important point! what these images mean is in the eye of the beholder…
We project and we see through our own lenses and filters- the costumes remind me of those in ‘Cabaret’ and in ‘Chicago’ and ‘Hair’ and nothing wrong at all. And Adam is class not crass, so I expect it will be smokin hot and nothing ugly.
Apparently, Z100’s Elvis Duran just played ‘whataya want from me’ .
