Not only will Adam Lambert be appearing at the VH1 Do Something Awards ceremony on August 18 in Los Angeles, he has also been nominated for an award. You can vote for him at VH1 HERE.
Adam has been very vocal about the causes he loves from the minute he stepped off the Idol stage. In lieu of gifts, Adam asked his fans to support DonorsChoose instead. Together, they raised $322, 260 for the organization. Adam even stopped by schools in Los Angeles and NYC to deliver supplies and talk to the kids about music.
The giving didn’t stop with Donors Choose. Instead of birthday gifts for his 29th birthday, Adam asked that friends and family donate to his Charity:Water birthday campaign. Fans raised over $320, 000 in just over a few weeks breaking all of the organizations records!
The Do Something Awards will air on VH1 August 18 at 9/8c. Adam’s VH1 Behind the Music special will debut on August 10 at 10/9c.
