  I don’t know why this has turned into some kind of snarkfest between Adam and Kris fans, but the guilty parties need to stop it. I don’t give a darn about who has sold more downloads, who’s more chartiable, who’s nicer or who’s eating captain crunch instead of cornflakes. You need to stop it, because the rest of us is sick of reading a bunch of juvenile crap. It ain’t about you guys reliving hurt feelings over Kris victory or Adam’s media buzz. I will go ahead and apologize to MJ, because I feel I have overstepped my rights as a visitor to this site, but some of you need to remember what the subject is we originally started talking about.

  Archie moved 700K albums last year so I’m not sure why Adam would be expected to sell fewer albums.

  Uh,,,because he is not Archie ? Because that’s comparing apples and oranges ? because it doesn’t matter ?

  I also believe that being Jewish is also is important to who Adam is as a musician ‘” and vocalists are musicians. Just like growing up exposed to Gospel music had a dramatic effect on singers from Aretha Franklin to Danny Gokey ‘” growing up in the Jewish faith exposes people to a vast diverse array of music that is the result of the Jewish diaspora, and give children an appreciation of the value of vocal performance.

  That’s probably very true, but in several interviews he has stated that it is his father’s interest in music that got him started being interested in rock etc…

  I read in the Details Magazine article that Adam has a 6 figure deal with 19/RCA, I hope this is not all he’s going to make off record sales, does anyone know how that works? Does he also receive a % of record sales profits? That would only be fair, 6 figures is nothing!!! And just the way his pre-sale album has sold thus far on Amazon tells you the guy is going to probably exceed expectation! Anyways, about that Detail magazine picture spread, I wish he’d either had a fresh coat of polish on his nails or none at all! They would never have had a female with chipped fingernail polish in these photos (look at the models), just saying it’s kind of a distraction. I love Adam just the same!!! Another thing, Adam’s hair is not red! It’s strawberry blond! My hair is the same color and I always got pissed when I was referred to as a red head! Just saying! And I do highlight my hair blond so now I’m not even referred to as strawberry whatsoever! I actually could picture Adam being very handsome with his hairstyle now & natural color with blond highlights, he’d be soooooo handsome! I like him dark too though!

  I have been lucky enough to be working on a project that involves celebrity brands right now ‘” and Adam happened to be on the celebrity list. It is private research but I can say that the Adam numbers are unique and so stunning/unheard of that we are back in the field doing confirmation work. But right now it is either a statistical outlier that will not be confirmed in the 2nd set of interview OR he really is Sunn’s ‘Black Swan’ . As an analyst, I’m not taking a position on this one.

  This is the second time you’ve mentioned this Q3 and Im DYING of curiousity. Could you elaborate? (I don’t quite understand what you mean)

  I want to see what country goes #1 for Adam first and my bet is on Canada.

  I think that was misleading how they described the deal in Details. It sounds like he will receive 6 figure salary, which is hardly the case. From what I understand, they used to say the winner gets a recording contract worth 6 figures, not that the artist will receive any money. They don’t really announce that anymore. But, in the Details article it sounded like that is what he will be making. Huge misrepresentation. I think it is probably going to be a gradual climb for Adam in terms of profits.

  Well I found the right thread to post this even tho it is 4 days old.

  But I got my copy of Details magazine. Adam’s cover shot is way more GORGEOUS in person. Great cover.

  My 14 year old read the article.

  My 9 year old enjoyed the cover!!!!
