Adam Lambert, Max Martin, Lukasz “Dr Luke” Gottwald, and Ke$ha are on stage at the 28th Annual ASCAP Pop Music Awards at the Grand Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland Center last night in Hollywood, California.
There were lots of awards presented to songwriters and publishers at the ceremony, including an award presented by Adam to Swedish songwriter/producer, Max Martin, for “DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love” by Usher with Pitbull and Adam’s hit, “Whataya Want From Me”.
Steve Kipner, who co-wrote Kris Allen’s hit, “Live Like We’re Dying” was also on hand to pick up an award.
A special tribute was paid to Rod Stewart by Glee’s Darren Criss who serenaded the vintage rocker with an acoustic piano rendition of “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy”.
That’s all the blog related items I’ve got here, but there’s much more in the ASCAP press release, which you can read right HERE.
