I really get no Bon Jovi from the small snippet of TFM that I’ve heard. What Bon Jovi song would you compare the snippet to? Aerosmith, maybe. I agree, I’m waiting to hear the actual album. I thought I would be getting something new from the American Idol last year and I got the same-old, same-old. Oh well, I guess the new for me will have to be Adam’s unique voice.

And ‘Music Again’  is like Madonna’s ‘Music’  ‘“ a dance song.

‘Suburban Decay’  ‘“ no idea. It’s a mouthful. Maybe the emotional ballad about vulnerability. Though Adam’s been quoted several times that he doesn’t like emo lyrics (what was MW then?) so maybe it’s an anthem rock song?

ITA wrt “Winners” and “Music Again” – latter definitely has a dance vibe going for it – a party, pop track, my guess – solid hooks and beats, etc.

“Suburban Decay” – my guess is edgy rock, veering into Green Day territory (which I think was brought up in the interview too). I’m guessing it won’t be a slower song, though.

The Creation of Adam – might work as an Album title. They can show his metamorphosis into a glam rock star.

I think Adam was referring to the type of “overwrought” emo lyrics. He is too sunny for overwrought lyrics.

And “Music Again” is like Madonna’s “Music” – a dance song.

how come i got a feeling that adam’s music will sound more like blake lewis’? i hope w/ his amazing vocals, i will like it.

I like that. Or “Strut”. Not super loving the other suggestions like glam rock this/that…/prince of rock…. / blah blah. Adam is too original for that. And…I don’t think he should be put in a box/title anyway.

Reading the comments on these threads, I just flashed on Adam during Hollywood Week saying how he wants to take a song we’ve heard a hundred times before ‘ ¦ then that earnestness when he says, ‘I can.’ 

It totally makes me want to choke up. He had to fight for this and he did. And man, the world is listening.

Yes, it’s beautiful that he didn’t give up and fought for his dream, and I love when he gets positive feedback from respected people in the industry, not just for his voice, but for being a nice, fun guy

But, b/c Kris’s is KRIS ALLEN (and b/c this was a really corny idea on my part, anyway), I think it might be one of the Rob Cavallo titles he mentioned today! (Or Strut, which he could certainly do.) Seems like it would be from one of his songs. When do we get to see the COVER PHOTO? (Maybe next week…after they pick a name for the album. )

This strategy worked out very well for Obama, BTW. Strategy is everything. It worked for Adam on Idol and it seems to be working out just fine for RCA/Adam, too. You just need the right person, and we’ve found it.

Adam is amazing. I never thought that I would enjoy a storm so much.

I cannot believe, honestly, that Cavallo was SO EXCITED about working with Adam. I mean, how many producers are THIS excited about working with an artist? He couldn’t stop raving. I am stunned (in a *good* way).

Just Adam’s range alone is something very special. How often does that come along in pop, especially in male form? Even when you have just a strong three-octave range, fellow singers and musicians tend to be kind of awestruck, and he’s got four full octaves and counting, *plus* he has great senses of rhythm and pitch, can access the whole huge huge range without exhibiting any breaks, sing strong high low and middle, bring chest voice to an insanely high point, sing long passages in falsetto, etc. etc. etc. To have both his range and his control of the range is just incredible. Then when you add somebody with performance chops, imagination and ideas, a good work ethic, skill and talent at being *expressive* with that voice, great diction so you understand every word he says, and a fun-to-be-with personality you have something that comes along about once in a lifetime, if you’re really really lucky.

I don’t think that even all that guarantees success — you hvae to produce something that the times will embrace.

But working with Adam’s instrument has to be a lot of fun for producers who like vocals.

Adam does not need any other title, just ADAM LAMBERT.
