Adam Lambert Records with a Full Orchestra For Upcoming Album
With Adam Lambert talking excitedly in interviews and on twitter about working with producers like RedOne, Max Martin and Dr. Luke, it would be easy to assume his upcoming CD would be filled with electronic dance music.
No doubt, there will be plenty of tunes perfect for clubbing, but it looks like Adam’s got a few surprises in store for his fans. Last night, he twittered:,

Strings for a ballad, maybe? These little teasers kept fans endlessly speculating. So far, there’s been plenty of talk, but no music.
Last weekend, Adam shot the video for “Time for Miracles” from the 2012 soundtrack. Screenings of the blockbuster movie, set to be released in November, have begun, and so far, the critics who’ve seen the movie haven’t much to say on the song.
A writer/columnist who attended a 2012 screening in Jackson Hole, Wyoming last night, peppered with twitters from fans looking for deets would only say the song was, “Beautiful and hopeful, very fitting,” but then couldn’t elaborate, “Can’t. Phone were confiscated at door. Also, I’m an ethical guy. I cannot do that.” Boo!
Maybe something will break on the Adam Lambert single front next week. In the meantime, on Tuesday, Adam, Paula Abdul and Snoop Dogg will announce the American Music Award nominations at the Beverly Wilshire hotel in Los Angeles.
Adam’s debut album will be available everywhere on November 24.

I’m in heaven. It IS a classic rock ballad, just like Adam said. No bubblegum crap. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You peeps. The audio is encoded in a shitty 64kbps. Of course the vocals will sound slightly different because of the compression distortion.
Rule that I’ve developed over time for listening to post-Idol music (at least in the first two years or so of said Idol’s career):
If you like the Idol’s voice, just concentrate very hard on it, and concentrate fiercely on *ignoring* the song that the voice is singing …. because the song will be “meh” at best. And “at best” doesn’t even come along very often.
If you don’t like the Idol’s voice, don’t listen at all. Because the song will be “meh” at best. And you will will *not* enjoy the experience!
I like a lot of Idol voices. But I’ve stopped waiting for one of them to be showcased early in the game with any song that I particularly like in the least! This season, to me Kris’s and Allison’s singles and Adam’s movie song (as far as I can tell from the snippet anyway) are all on the upwards side of “meh,” so I’m actually quite happy!

And the Oct 20th US release is probably accurate the actual site page for TFM says ‘original’ release date 16th – so that leads to the idea they updated the date.

I LOVE the TFM snippet!! That is definitely our ADAM!!!! Now….. the Adam Storm really has begun… even if it is just a few seconds of “NEW MUSIC”!!!!
If his album is mostly electronic dance music, I’ll be incredibly disappointed in Adam or whoever decided his music for him. The closest thing he should ever come to electronic music is Let’s Dance from the tour, which was damn awesome and not electronic but sounded a bit like it

This full orchestra track sounds amazing, though. I absolutely HAVE to hear it. I will die if I don’t.
Also, am I the only one who thinks even Adam has evolved over Idol? I remember during the course of the show I thought his voice was grating and annoying because of that wail, but he perfected it into something that’s actually very good. Still kinda annoying, but really good.
Adam’s voice has indeed continued to evolve since January. I think the being on Idol and then on tour taught him some really good things and he has used that knowledge to improve. He is not the same singer that he was during Hollywood Week.
