Guys, I highly doubt this was a screw up on Sony and itunes part…these days many songs are posted on youtube to generate interest before they are put up for sale…by releasing it in a few places and on youtube they generate excitement and publicity…i think they know exactly what they are doing…dont forget, this song is to promote a movie — that it benefits adam is just an extra benefit

It’s okay… we all have different tastes.
His voice is definitely not electronically smoothed out, although I’m sure we can and will disagree on this as well.

I know. It’s obviously wjat caused the confusion and the early release. Oh well they will have to release to Itunes today if they don’t want to lose anymore money.

Just goes to show that tastes are different. I love the ending, not crazy about the beginning. It’s beautiful as well but the ending really shows what Adam can do.

It sounds like the studio versions of Idol, especially Feeling Good and A Change is Gonna Come and One. He knows how to adjust for a recording.

Also just like when I saw him singing in Wicked.

Guess you never listened to the live recording of Brigadoon.

I tried to make an account on the italian itunes but they don’t accept my credit card, says its not from italy, so I guess you can’t buy it unless you’re italian or dutch’ ¦

OMG this absolutely gorgeous! It is so Adam, the emotion and break in his voice in the beginning, the way that every word is heartfelt and clearly understood, the fabulous high notes, the layering and rock wail at the end. How amazing would it be to hear him sing it live??

and Sony needs to fix this fast – but I have no doubt the sales of this song are going to be massive. I for one will buy extra copies to make up for downloading it.

btw I agree someone should wake suebrody up, but how about someone wake Adam up!!

I’m sorry, but I really don’t think this is going to change anything as far as sales. Whether we like it or not, buying music, and almost all other media, now is 100% a choice. People who were going to buy it will still buy it and people who were just going to download it are still just going to download it. All reasonably popular music is ripped and posted everywhere with in a few hours of it earliest release.

The only exception is if the target audience doesn’t have at least a minimal amount of internet experience, which is becoming more and more rare. I mean, hell, my sister knows a bunch of little old ladies who sit around and pirate cross stitch patterns.

NO it’s not. But the download link is for a high quality Itunes copy, not a lower quality internet stream. They will lose money on this. And I think ITunes Italy and Belgium will probably be facing a law suit.

Sunn, I realize that. And now there has to be some fixing on the part of the executives who are responsible for the song’s rollout. It is now out there– and like it or not people are going for it.
I really hope Sony jumps in and releases it to the U.S. market
IMMEDIATELY, otherwise they’ll lose a lot more!!

These are treacherous times for those who don’t understand the power of the Internet. In this case, someone made a stupid mistake and it’ll cost them. A lot.

OMG, Adam woke me up this morning. I had to get a drink of water, which I seldom do at this hour of the morning. I knew this song would be epic. They had better put it on iTunes, otherwise they are going to lose a lot of sales. I am going to play it over and over from youtube, but I will definitely buy it too when it comes out.
