If he really wanted to make people dance, he should look back at his performances of Let’s Dance and Play That Funky Music. Amazing, upbeat, danceable, and NOT electropop.

it wasn’t really electropop/dance, it had such an amazing feel to it. And I honestly thought it blew the original out of the water, David bowie’s sounds like a boring ‘meh’  compared to Adam’s. It’s pretty hard for someone to take someone as timeless as David Bowie and make him sound like crap on his own song.

Hopefully that’s the extent of what Lyndsey and Adam consider ‘electropop’  because it didn’t sound electronic

Of course we’ll all have to wait until we hear the full album to really know what it will sound like, but FWIW, Adam said several times that the Bowie Medley, and “Let’s Dance” in particular, gave a lot of clues about what his album would be like.

And he said during one interview, when specifically asked about the fear that he would allow electronics to cover his voice, that the electronic element was about the instrumentation, not his vocals.

I quite like Lady Gaga–her lyrics and melodies are often actually very clever. But I would be very sad if Adam’s voice were not highlighted on at least most of his songs, so hopefully he’s sticking to his earlier thoughts on the electronic elements of his music. Lyndsey Parker’s song descriptions, especially the second two, sounded very promising, and Rolling Stone specifically talked about Strut highlighting Adam’s range and falsetto, so signs are positive.

We shall see.

Weird – never heard of The Sweet, so I figured she was referring to a more recent cover of the old song Ballroom Blitz, only that IS the old version! Very familiar with the song, but never knew it was by The Sweet. Weird….

Heh…hwc, that is exactly what I wrote when he first said it in his interview but I was severly scolded for saying that I didn’t think fire would be part of his AMA appearance. Everyone said that if Adam said it, it would be true and that they use controlled fire on stage all the time. So what the fuck do I know.

Lyndsey says nothing she heard today sounds even remotely like the retro power ballad ‘Time For Miracles’  from the 2012 soundtrack. And to be honest peeps, I could not be more relieved. Adam kills the song vocally. But the tune itself is a sonic retread…

ITA. I was concerned when I heard that the song would be on the album but I’ll just look at it as a (skippable) bonus track.

Yes it is. He is now answering tweets about his source. I think English is not his first language, but it sounds shaky. I hope its not true-the description of the song doesn’t sound glam-rockish. I would love to hear Music Again as the first single, based on the description in the article.

The Time for Miracles video has about a half million views and an approval rating of 24%. Now, considering the views are measured whether you log in or not and the approval rating is based solely on logged in viewers’ ¦.just interesting. So if people think the video is so horrendous why are they watching it. I would think that internet buzz would have already KILLED this if it truly was considered bad by over 3 million views.

Oh well’ ¦..
