Adam Lambert’s Lead Album Single Won’t Be Time For Miracles

Michael Slezak of Entertainment Weekly confirms that Adam Lambert’s “Time For Miracles”, appearing in the 2012 film and soundtrack, will not be the lead single off his upcoming album:

For the record, a rep for Adam’s label says ‘Time for Miracles’ won’t be the lead single from Adam’s forthcoming debut disc; a decision on which track they’ll ultimately choose will be made in the next couple of weeks.

I’ll wager the song RCA finally settles on will be an upbeat dance tune, tailor-made to chart on Top 40 radio. In the meantime, “Time for Miracles” has the potential to do very well on Hot Adult Contemporary and Adult Contemporary radio. A two pronged attack that covers all your basic radio formats could find Adam all over the airwaves this coming fall.
