Adam Lambert told MTV News at the AMA press conference today, that he had a lot of fun filming the video for “Time For Miracles.” Adam also confirms October 18 as the release date for the tune.
And the biggest news? “The ‘2012′ trailer that we put together with the ['Time for Miracles' music video] will be premiering at the Michael Jackson film,” Adam reveals to MTV News. He’s referring to a special trailer that will run before the upcoming documentary Michael Jackson’s This Is It, which begins a two week run on October 28.

“[The video] was really performance-driven. It was really about the lyric content and the emotional guts of the song,” Lambert told MTV News on Tuesday (October 13) in Los Angeles.
But given that the tune is being used in a Roland Emmerich-helmed disaster flick, fans should expect a doomsday element to the clip as well. “There were a ton of extras on the set. What they were doing is they were staging scenes reminiscent of what happens in ‘2012,’ ” Lambert said.
Specifically, the “American Idol” rocker pointed to one sequence in the video where he sings calmly while chaos surrounds him. “I’m just walking through looking straight at the camera singing the song, and there’s a riot going on around me ‘†people being tossed in front of me, looting, you know, people being arrested,” Lambert described. “That was pretty wild, to try to stay focused on the song while that was happening. But we had fun. It was a good day.”

OMG!! I finally caught up. AND am officially “delurking”!! Have shared as much as possible with my best friend-my husband- who also liked Adam from the beginning as he has a background in music and got caught up in Adam’s talent. He’s been VERY supportive of my “addiction”, time spent on this site and went to 2 tour concerts this year with me and really enjoyed both. I share many tidbits with him as they occur BUT–TODAY, actually YESTERDAY WAS TOO MUCH !!! I just can’t overwhelm him with ALL that happened. Told him about Ryans’s interview and the news there and had him listen to the interview with Rob Cavallo and this morning the news about the TFM video with TII. But I needed to delurk and tell you all howmuch fun it’s been having a place to come for information and discussion and I read every thread here about Adam. I will probably stay more in the background but have been so happy to havwe you share your feelings and insight with me as we make this epic journey

The Adam Lambert Fans’ application for Oprah’s show has been on her site since AI was over. I did a search for it on her site around the time the rumor circulated that Adam was going to be on Larry King. I forgot about it and never thought to post it here when I did see it.
