Adam Lambert’s Upcoming Album is #2 on Amazon Bestsellers List
Adam Lambert’s upcoming album now sits at #2 on the Amazon Bestsellers list–this, after the album was discovered available for pre-order by fans yesterday afternoon. Word of mouth spread the news quickly via fanboards and twitter, and as the day wore on, Adam’s yet-to-be named album rose quickly up the chart.
Adam’s rise at Amazon was truly a word of mouth phenomenon. There were no announcements from Amazon or Adam’s label RCA, in fact, as of this morning, the album could not be found through a search of “Adam Lambert” on Amazon!
It hit #2 yesterday evening, and seems to have settled there for now. Barbara Streisand currently holds the #1 spot.
Adam is beating out: Madonna, The Beatles, Susan Boyle and Michael Jackson. Not too shabby.
One thing is for sure–Adam’s Idol fanbase is strong and mighty. All he needs now is a leak of his latest single. With a push from the media, who clearly seems to adore him (I’m looking at you Rolling Stone!), Adam’s post-Idol debut, could do very well indeed.

Geesh, Drake finally learned to not tweet Adam or his business, I sure wish his mother would. She really doesn’t have a clue what chaos this is going to cause.
It took Adam’s LA friends a little while to figure out the pure level of insanity surrounding Adam – it will probably take the Labrys a little while to learn that also. It is probably even harder for them to imagine since they don’t live in Hollywood. The craziness currently surrounding Adam is much higher than one would expect for a newly discovered celebrity – I think that is why it took his LA friends a while to figure it out. They are used to “normal” celebrity that some of them have or are related to!

I saw a tweet fly by before that Drake flipped someone off but the tweet was gone before I could see the name of the tweeter. I came here to see if anything was mentioned. I hope it’s not true.
I already hold it against Drake that he put Adam in an uncomfortable position on the night they first came out of the club together. Drake was acting all pissy in the car and Adam uncharacteristically called the pap’s “yearbook photographers”.
Adam your dreams are coming true. I am so happy for you. I pre-ordered my c d on Amazon. I hope it goes GOLD before you are even done recording it. Everyone is waiting for the C D. Everyone is wanting just a taste of it, as Quintin T said. You are number one on Amazon.
You have always been number one to me. I can’t wait for my C D I ordered. I don’t care what Drake does, All I want to do is hear your beautiful voice, see your dance moves, go to your concerts.

I hope it’s not true as well for Adam’s sake. Things are about to explode for Adam (God willing!) and he doesn’t need to be worrying about how his boyfriend is going to be acting.
OK…sorry for being such a noob about all this….but is Amazon the very best way to get the album fast and at the best price? I mean, under $10 is a great deal…how much does shipping add? Did I read where someone said it would be delivered that very day? My b-day is Nov 23rd, so I am gonna want this asap!
Or should I just plan to go to Best Buy the morning of Nov 24th? TIA!
