2nd Update: Carrie B has volunteered to be a dress rehearsal Blog Reporter. Thank you Carrie B! She’s got experience–last year she accompanied Caffiend on quite a few dress rehearsals, she did a few alone, too. So, really, it’s more like “welcome back Carrie B” *smiles*!
She can’t go tomorrow, however. So, if any of you are going to tomorrow’s dress rehearsal, contact me HERE.
Update: I’m hearing that tomorrow night’s show will be LIVE.
Dress rehearsal call time at 12:30 PST. tomorrow, with the live show beginning at 5 pm, presumably.
Typically, the first performance show of the season is taped live for broadcast, to work out the kinks. The producers must be feeling very confident, or they’re trying to thwart spoilers…
Next week’s shows will be shifted 1 day to accommodate President Obama’s State of the Union Address on Tuesday. The performance show will air Wednesday 8/7 pm and the results show, Thursday, 8/7 pm.
One more thing: The lovely Caffiend acted as blog reporter last season, texting back song spoilers after nearly every dress rehearsal. It was a heroic effort, and I thank her for it.
That was so much fun, I’m looking to do it again. Caffiend is unavailable, so I’m gonna need some NEW blog reporters, willing to report song spoilers.

Only if it was moving from Feb 24 (Tues) to Feb 17 (Wednesday.) That would be going back.
Going from Feb 24 (Tuesday) to Feb 25 (Wednesday) would be going up a day.
I’m pretty clear about this, but don’t ask me if “next Saturday” is the Saturday coming up or the Saturday after that one. (“next Saturday” vs. “this Saturday”)
Maybe it’s a Southern thing, I don’t know.

I know, caff! I have a client meeting tomorrow – hoping it’s my firs big fish. I will try every week after that. What time would I need to be there tomorrow if I could make it?
