This week’s song spoilers for the Then and Now American Idol 12 Top 4 Redux theme are below. Via @IdolSpoilers Via The Idol Spoilers

Then (Standards)

Amber Holcomb – “My Funny Valentine” – I CAN’T I JUST CAN’T. Playing it so safe, are we Amber?
Angela Miller – “Someone to Watch Over Me” – Good song choice for Angie, although I think Amber could have had a moment with it.
Kree Harrison – “Stormy Weather” – The song has a bluesy undercurrent that Kree should be able to pull off.
Candice Glover – “You’ve Changed” – I approve. Billie Holiday and Sarah Vaughn both performed this song, a good choice.

Amber Holcomb, Angela Miller, Candice Glover, and Kree Harrison – “Wings” by Little Mix, as a quartet. –  That Little Mix sure is getting around!

Now (2013)

Amber Holcomb – “Just Give Me A Reason” by Pink & Nate Ruess – We’ll see if Amber can bring a depth of feeling to this big ballad.
Angela Miller – “Diamonds” by Rihanna – Angela posted a You Tube cover of this song. She plays the piano on it too, so she should be good to go this week. Angie does best on songs that she already kows.
Candice Glover – “When I Was Your Man” by Bruno Mars – Well now, I’m intrigued. And I’ll just leave it at that.
Kree Harrison – “See You Again” by Carrie Underwood – On one hand, this seems like a safe choice. But, at this point, it’s probably wise to do a popular mainstream country song the panel is familiar with.
