American Idol 9 premiers January 12. AND NOT A MOMENT TOO SOON.
From FOX’s press release:
January starts off on a high note when the ninth season of AMERICAN IDOL, television’s No. 1 series, begins with a two-night premiere Tuesday, Jan. 12 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) and Wednesday, Jan. 13 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT).
After its fall finale Wednesday, Dec. 9 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), GLEE returns from its interlude with a score of all-new episodes on a new night beginning Tuesday, April 13 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT).
OMG. After December 9, we have to wait until April for our next Glee fix? NOOOOO.

I think I seen somewhere that the DVD for the first 13 comes out Dec. 29th…..guess I’ll be watching that to get my fix. I’m thinking of forcing my husband to watch it, it always makes it better when you rewatch something with someone who hasn’t seen it before lol.
I’ll second Sarah’s question. I can’t imagine AI without chat. It just wouldn’t be the same. And yay for season 9.

Oh, Cathy I hope you are right. Season 8 was not amongst my favorites. I also hope there will be other changes made like no Wild Card and no Judge Save rule.
I missed two episodes of Glee, and hope they will be repeated. Otherwise, I hope to rent a DVD of the show. Too bad they don’t have Glee before the AI Results show on Wednesdays.
I can’t wait for Idol to start…but I don’t think I will make it that long without Glee! Two weeks was bad enough!
