• Kris Allen – “Apologize” by OneRepublic – Randy and Kara’s Judges Pick – Kris forgot some words. He’s starting over… “Kris was VERY good.”
• Adam Lambert – “One” by U2 – Simon’s Judges Pick “omg…piano onstage…gorgeous…amazing.” One started off slow got faster…different than U2’s arrangement.“

Next is a long piece on Carrie Underwood and Idol gives back. She was in Africa recently

• Danny Gokey – “You Are So Beautiful” by Joe Cocker – He changed clothes. He’s got a string quartet. “Breathy, strained and awkward.” “It started off syrupy then he “took it to church” at the end.
• Kris Allen – “Heartless” by Kanye West – “He appeared magically on the side of the stage…just him and acoustic guitar. very mraz. very very good. definitely could create a moment.” Kris broke a string on his guitar.
• Adam Lambert – “Cryin” by Aerosmith – “Adam is looking “bombalicious, big boots, rocking rhinestone t-shirt, leather jacket…”

The crowd seemed to like Kris and Adam the best.   From the other side of the theater yelled, “Kris’s family loves you Adam!”   Adam answered back, “We aren’t feuding?”   Adam rocked like a lot…both his arrangements seemed sort of clipped? But he made “Cryin” his “filthy bitch”.

• Danny Gokey – Paula’s Judges Choice: “Dance Little Sister” by Terence Trent D’Arby. Personal Choice: “You Are So Beautiful” (?)
• Kris Allen -Â   Randy and Kara’s Judges Choice: “Apologize” by OneRepublic – “just him and acoustic guitar. very mraz. very very good. definitely could create a moment.”
