American Idol Season 8 – Top 9 – Performance – VIDEO
Appearing on Wednesday’s results show: David Cook sings his single “Come Back to Me” in a pre-taped segment, and Lady Gaga performs “Poker Face.”
The contestants can choose any song they want, as long as it’s a popular download. That’s a theme? The kids visit Uncle Ryan at work!

Anoop Desai – “Caught Up” by Usher – I am digging the hair. He’s rockin’ the Michael Jackson jacket. He’s working the stage pretty well. Some pitchy things here and there, and I’m not digging some of the riffing, but overall a decent vocal. Randy says, “You’ve picked up your swagger…not the right song for you…the vocals were good.” Kara thinks he played it safe. She called it a frat guy performance. Paula says, “Work on your stage presence.” Simon says, “It was a complete and utter mess…you came over as a wanna be…it gave me a headache.” Anoop disagrees with Kara and that he’s trying to define himself as an R&B artist. Not Anoop’s best, it wasn’t super-original, but Kara and Simon are baked. It wasn’t terrible. 1-866-436-5701
Megan Joy Corkrey – “Turn Your Light’s Down Low” by Lauren Hill – She thinks the judges are going to feel her this time! Eh. I still think this is kind of a mess. Her lack of musicality kills her everytime. This is better than last week, though. She looks beautiful, as always. Kara says, “I really like you, but I think you’re in trouble. Bob Marley is not the song choice for you.” She thought Adele would be better. Kara is shouting at the booing audience. Paula says, “At this stage, you need to take us by surprise.” Simon is still bugging Paula. Paula suggests she sits on a stool and sing a sensitive ballad. Simon says, “The song was boring, indulgent, montonounous…All the things we liked about you are disappearing.” Randy says, “Because you love a song, doesn’t mean you sing it great.” Wow they are slamming her. Megan says she likes her song. “You’ve been saying that every week,” says Simon. 1-866-436-5702
Danny Gokey – “What Hurts the Most” by Rascal Flatts – Danny get’s a sit down with Ryan. Danny loves Rascal Flatts. Danny says the song he got last week was “like 5th on my list”. Danny says he wants to tone it down this week, and sing his heart out. Wow. I don’t know if his voice is shot or what, but he’s really forcing it on the higher notes and it doesn’t sound good. He’s pouring a lot of emotion into it, I’ll give him that. “This is where you thrive…you leave me wanting more,” says Paula. Simon says, “This week, I thought it was your best performance…it was so much better than the first two.” Randy says, “Tonight’s show starts right here…very nice, baby, very nice.” Kara said, “You moved everyone in this room emotionally…you really connect with the audience.” Maybe it sounded better in studio? 1-866-436-5703
Allison Iraheta – “Donà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t Speak” by No Doubt – Allison is going to play guitar tonight. She’s rocking the crazy pink hair tonight! OMG she sounds incredible. I am loving this. Every choice she makes is right on–she knows how to phrase a song. Great finish. Best of the night so far. Randy says, “You were a little ahead of the beat…what is with this outfit.” Uh, the singing Randy? WTF? Kara says, “You don’t need to dress the part…it felt forced, a good performance…not your best.”  Paula is glad she brought her “axe”out with her. She likes her intonation and delivery. I agree with Paula! Simon begins babbling about the outfit. Geez, who gives a f**k about her outfit! Talk about her singing! Simon says she shouted the song. Wow, I guess I’m living in some alternative universe. Her outfit was not that weird, and I thought she sounded great. 1-866-436-5704
Scott MacIntyre – “Just The Way You Are” by Billy Joel – Gah. What a boring song choice. No band tonight, just piano. He’s less bland without the band backing him. This is one of his best performances, although he’s still pitchy and overreaches his range in spots. Definitely his best so far. Kara says, “I think you made some very smart decisions tonight…moving, coming from an honest place.” Paula says, “I’m most proud of you…it has everthing to do that makes me forget about that challenge.” But then…it’s still the challenge, isn’t it? Simon says, “You’re best performance by a country mile…it’s a different Scott.” Simon notes his “Ryan Seacrest hair”, and is glad he didn’t take Paula’s advice not to play the piano. Randy says, “One of the best.” Scott has bought himself another week, or maybe two. 1-866-436-5705
Matt Giraud – “You Found Me” by the Fray – Matt gets the Ryan treatment. He loves the Fray, and he’s going to sing a current song. He’s not sitting on the stage, but out in the audience surrounded by the pit girls. Hm. Off the bat, this is sounding off key. He’s not bringing anything new to this very current song, and he still sounds nervous. It’s affecting his pitch and vibrato. Paula says, “You aborted the thing we love about you…it became a sound alike.” Then she compares it to the Coldplay song. EEP. Simon, “We don’t like you this week…it felt very put on, very uptight, not a good commercial song…you’re becoming all these different people…I didn’t get it.” Wow, he’s getting slammed. “It was the wrong song for you…Apologize would have been you.” Kara says, “You keep going between rock and pop…you are going to hae to commit…you are a talented guy, you don’t deserve to go home.” Matt insists that R&B isn’t the only thing he can do. Stay in your box Matt! 1-866-436-5706
Lil Rounds – “Surrender” by Celine Dion – Lil thought a lot about it, then picked Celine Dion. She’s going for her “moment” tonight. Lil, why are you screaming at me? This is kind of a pitchy mess. She’s coming off a little desperate. Randy says, “This would not have been my song choice…you sang it really really well…but young it up a little.” Kara says, “I was surprised…when you go up there it’s effortless…we got a glimpse of who we saw in the beginning. We need to see more of that.” Paula says, “I don’t want to see an AC Lil Rounds…I know that’s there.” Simon says, “I found it quite similar to a wedding performance…”One” by U2 that MJ Blige sang would have been a good choice…your personality is getting sucked out of you.” Ryan, stop badgering Lil’s kids. Lil is crying, and now that the kids are in the picture, that’s like, a zillion more votes for Lil. 1-866-436-5707
Adam Lambert – “Play That Funky Music” by Wild Cherry – He sang a soft song last week…now he wants to pick up the pace, and make an old song sound current. This is a great vocal, but it doesn’t sound very current to me. Adam is back to the heavy-metal high notes–the song sounds more 80’s hair band than current rock and roll. I don’t understand why he didn’t pick a new song. “True genius,” says Paula. She’s comparing him to Mick Jagger and other R&R greats. Simon says at least he’s not Karaoke…you are original. Gah. this is the kind of performance Simon typically slams. “You are definitely in the star zone,” says Randy. Kara says, “Every week, I can’t wait to get to the show and see what you’re going to do.” Then she mentions studio…57? Isn’t that 54? But at least Kara can count this week. 1-866-436-5708
Kris Allen – “Ain’t Know Sunshine” – Kris likes taking old songs and making them new… He’s playing piano tonight. He’s got a couple of string players on stage with him. Hell yeah, this is pretty awesome. And it sounds current. I’m hearing this on AAA radio. Kris’s transformation over the course of this competition has been unbelievable. He is the diamond in the rought. Randy says, “You are definitely in the zone tonight.” Kara can count tonight, “That is artistry.” Paula says, “That could be the first cut from your album.” Simon says, “You showed some confidence tonight…great arrangement…Your best performance so far.” 1-866-436-5709

I agree with the person that said Adam won them over last week and lost them again this week… that’s me. And… the hair.. is this Adam’s new style?
Adam is a good singer but he was screaming and screaching through a funky soul song that I happen to like enough to have on my ipod. LOL Taylor did it justice – Adam slaughtered it… mileage. I don’t mind when a singer “interprets” a song differently but when they totally change the tune that’s different. ROF all over again. It’s groundhogs day.
And Matt…. WHY DIDN”T YOU SING APOLOGIZE?????????
Huh? Who said they are ALWAYS going to put him last? Has that happened, with Adam or anyone?
I guess, I’m missing your point, and I’m pretty sure, it doesn’t matter. I say, putting him in the latter half for ratings makes sense. You say, putting him first for ratings makes more sense. Cool either way, I say. If ratings and entertainment are the game, just keep him on the show for as long as possible. Thanks!
I’m detecting a pattern as to what I think of Adam’s performances. LOL. I didn’t like his “Satisfaction”, loved his “Black or White”, hated his “Ring of Fire”, adored his “Tracks of My Tears”, and I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I got bored with his song last night. If this pattern continues, I’m sure next week’s performance will blow me out of the water! LOL!
So, I’m still on the Adam train. Notice how I remember all of his performances? Not so with the others. LOL. (Have to say, though, that Kris was awesome last night! Props to him!)
Adam does not scream or screech – he is able to control that voice up or down – sideways or backwards, louder or softer in any which way he wants – it is always pitch perfect, maybe too loud for some ears but no screeching – nope not at all
Ditto, word for word. In fact, I would say JPL’s cheesy white boy dancing from Season 2 or 3 was way more self depricating and quirky and thus more awesome than that snippet of Taylor, and of course Gokey, who to me are two sides of the same coin. Adam obviously can dance well, as a trained dancer myself I can see it, so to me his stage movements during PTFMWB were more polished and you know, a hint of something he could actually do in concert with back up dancers and the like as an actual pop star with a stage show. Now, is the world ready for a gay male version of Brit and Gaga? That I don’t know. But I don’t understand the Taylor comparison at all.
“If you look at the patterns, Idol seems to keep certain favourites performing in the last half of the show. Thatà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s not necessarily a patter”
I dont look at patterns, this is American Idol not rocket science – just entertain us and then you just might get voted thru to win the recording contract and then you can do what you will and then maybe we will buy your cd.
If this WAS Adams last minute choice then MAJOR props to the guy – he remembered the words, he entertained and moved well and hit all the notes just right, so I am even more impressed with this guy singing the song that I hate – way to go Adam
When I heard that they were doing Top Downloads, I was expecting something like this. I don’t like Katy Perry but as this cover (and Kelly Clarkson) prove, I can listen to her songs — just not when she sings them.
Adam could have killed with something like this.
Well, just to give my two cents…..I LOVE Taylor Hicks….he by far is my favorite idol but I do think Adam sang a better PTFM!!!! Adam’s voice is incredible……and spot on……even when he is shouting ….:blink_tb:.
They…Taylor and Adam are the reason I love to watch Idol….they are soooo fun, seem like real good guys and not disingenuous. I think having age on their side helps keep this all in perspective for them.
Pix…..
Hi Dingo….so good to see you here!
MJ – Loving your website, constantly checking for Idol updates. I write for the Examiner about American Idol, and I’d love to do an article about you. Interested? Here’s the website: http://www.examiner.com/x-2695-American-Idol-Examiner
On the subject of talking back:
Can’t they see it is not only bad manners it is a costly mistake. “Member” last year, DC said after a couple bad sasses he learn to nod and keep his mouth shut.
Geeze these guys are nuts.To be this far along in the competition it’s like they have not learned a thing. I love Kris, he is the dark horse. And Kari? needs to go,thought she was an expert, what happened ? She grates on my nerves.
Well he does to me. Everyone has their own opinion. I guess I shouldn’t really compare Taylor and Adam on PTFM. I just liked Taylor’s so much better because it was recognizable. Every now and them I get on the Adam train but I cant stay on. I’d never dispute the fact that the guy can sing. I don’t think anyone would. Personally I just dont usually enjoy it… especially when he makes that crying baby face. lol But I’m like Kara – I do look forward to what show he’s going to put on each week.
ETA: Why are we hearing so much about people not being able to get their song choices this year??? I dont remember hearing all of that in prior seasons. I’m kinda tired of hearing it.
KRIS FTW!!!!!
the more i listen to the performances again…the more i Like what Matt did…I think his overall performance was the best of the night
-best song
-best arrangement
-best lights for his performance
-awesome that he was surrounded by the fans
granted it was a little pitchy at the beginning…but overall it was pretty awesome
The judges are losing touch…year after year they label these contestants and force them into unpopular genres….they blast anyone that tries to sound current…good for Anoop to basically tell Kara to fuck off…the guy is an R an B singer and thats what he is gong to try to do outside of idol….Matt is going to try to do Pop rock/r & B…..i think its good for them to continue to do what they do….Allison dressed like a 16 year old and sang great…..
get rid of Kara and bring in someone younger…at least that may balance things out…
Yeah. It really is a matter of preference. He does too much screeching and not enough singing, in my opinion.
He was at the top last week. Last night, he left the door open. Danny walked back in, and Kris followed.
Could you possibly imagine Kris Allen winning? What it would do to this show? Can you see his picture up on the backdrop of idol with all the other winners? – No. American Idol will be completely finished if he wins. He won’t sell. He wont have hits. He’s a good 4th placer who can put out an indie album- thats not what AI winners do.
Adam is the only one when you put him up against past winners, not only does it make sense, but he overpowers the majority of winners imo (ruben, taylor, jordin for sure). for me, if he doesnt win, and i know its still really early, but i think there is 0 justice in this world for real talent.
I’m probably all alone here…but I still like Megan. I hope she stays a little longer. I love the fact that she’s different — picks different style songs and genres, and I love her voice. To me, she is just a little rough — needs some training and practice. But I think she’s something really different that could sound good and do well if given some time. There are plenty of other artists out there that grew over time. And from what she’s said, she sounds like she’s not been working at this like so many of the others.
The judges are driving me crazy. 4 is too many — they all say the same things over and over .. and what the heck do they mean? They contradict themselves and don’t give any constructive criticism. And they do it to everyone. I wonder what those kids must be thinking while they stand there. How are they supposed to use that babble to improve their performances. And it annoys me to no end to have the judges tell these contestants ‘who they are’. I suspect the contestants know what type of music they like and want to sing.
Aahhhh… feeling much better now that I’ve unloaded.
^^
Oh Adam will win but I want Kris… lol I really wanted Matt but I think he’s a goner. Adam is definitely a showman… a recording artist? I’m not sure about that one.
You are not alone (didn’t somebody sing that)….anyway, I like Megan too and personally think it was one her best performances. The judges are more hung up with “song choice” on her for some reason. Hopefully, she will be back for another week.

Agree! He really puts me to sleep.
I’m not that interested
Four weeks ago, no.
Now? Yes.
Adam’s not doing himself any favors.
Yes, you are missing my point. All I’m saying is that having him sing in the last three slots four out of five times probably indicates that the producers are treating him more favourably than other contestants.
I’m not saying he has to sing first (he may never sing first). I just think that if (a HUGE if) the producers were truly fair about things, they would sprinkle people throughout the performance order. In the past, they have not done that. Idol is not fair and they do favour people. Looking at performance order can indicate preferences. It’s starting to look like Danny is not TCO. They aren’t favouring him with performance order. They are treating him like any other contestant and he’s obviously popular (if you look at dial idol), so why aren’t he and Adam switching who is sing last each week?
During the early rounds when going early can spell doom to even good contestants, the producers protect their favourites by having them sing later in the show. Now, one can always argue that they sing later because they are the “bestest” performer to ever grace the show, but if the producers always sent performers out in their ranking of ability, nobody would ever watch the beginning of the show (and Megan would have opened every show). A properly paced show should distribute the good performances around. Maybe this is why this show never wins an Emmy for anything other than clips packages and forcing dead Elvis to sing duets.
Having Adam sing in the last three performance slots may help with ratings a bit, but having him doing it 4 out of 5 times will teach people that he’s not showing up to the end, so don’t bother watching the start. If they were just interested in him as a rating draw, they’d have him sing 2nd or 3rd every once in a while.
As the number of contestants winds down, it will be safer to have him sing earlier because he won’t get lost in the shuffle.
Lu, you took the words out of my mouth!
I’m all about KRIS FTW!! Picked Adam in the pool, wanted Matt to be the dark horse (I guess that’s not working out too well, lol), but I’m rooting for the tender puppy now. (and Allison).
I’m over Matt. I won’t be sad if he goes tonight.
I don’t have any favorit but I think Kris was the best last knight… Is the only performance that I will listen over and ove again…
Kris is my fave but that “want to make a Moment” clip was kind of weird — I think it’s a sign the producers are starting to back him, cause hitting you over the head w/a hammer like that is just their style
FWIW I don’t think he has that big belter voice that seems to be a requirement to win Idol. But he knows his limitations and works well within them. (Exception: that last falsetto note he always tries to hit). But Idol has been more accepting of singers w/o the typical big voice lately – Blake, Brooke, Jason, none had a big power voice but went far in the competition thanks to their musicality.
Well, after all that, I don’t think I did miss your point, Kirsten.
I believe AI is nearly always at cross purposes, in that, they would like a successful winner, but ratings and ad fees more readily line their pockets so good TV matters at least as much, and probably more. Sometimes better performers serve both equally, sometimes not. (And, then there’s always the chicken and the egg. LOL)
Anyway, I’m not disputing that Adam is popular, and more power to him. He’s popular with the audience, some voters, industry professionals, colleagues, and if your analysis is accurate, TPTB. Go Adam!
Props to Kris – he deserved it! Great performance!
Didn’t like Adam last night and he is usually in my top 3. Hate the song.
Current – Matt. He just is. I will stand on solid ground saying his music will sell.
How can they want him to stay in R&B when So Small was his best performance? Judges were off imo last night on several contestants.
Scott was not as good as they thought he was.
Allison does need help with her image. Love her voice!
Just can’t jump on the Kris bandwagon. And it’s funny, cuz he’s probably the most similar to the kind of stuff I usually listen to. I think that’s the problem. I already have an Ipod brimming with under-appreciated singer/songwriters that I like much better. Kris pales in comparison for me. Castro was my fave last season, and I still think his sound/style is more distinct than Kris Allen’s.
Adam FTW.
Kris was great last night. Now, he is a dark horse I can get behind. Idol has never been about “one” winner. There are usually a few that do well. The only Huge ones have been Kelly and Carrie. (Daughtry has to do well on his second album to join them) So, I don’t have a problem with a “Castro like singer” such as Kris winning. I think he’s the front runner now, and even though Adam is still my favorite, I think Kris would be a fantastic Idol winner. He’s charming and can entertainment the type of audience that comprise Idol fanatics. I love him.
Hee. I still liked Adam last night. Twice he’s gotten his song changed at the last minute and I’m hearin TPTB are really liking the controversial OTT performances. Pushing them. Adam’s their tool, but as long as Adam is getting famous for it, they both benefit. He’s not the first contestant to get used. But, definitely was not his best. Although I am a huge fan of the part of his singing that you guys call screaming. It takes a lot of talent.
So, last night I thought Kris, then Adam, then Scott was my favorite. Allison has always been my second fav, but this is the second week where I didn’t like her very much. She’s getting old, only shouts and is very rough around the edges, but I’d still love a Kris, Allison and Adam finale. I didn’t vote for her surprisingly this week – Kris, Scott and Adam got my votes.
This is season 5 all over again. Danny is so much like Taylor. I saw Taylor in concert and he was great. I’m liking Danny more and more. Kris like Kat (so beautiful)!! Adam will be a Daughtry (and I really don’t think Adam wants to stay past 4th – I’d be embarrassed for him if he did) Lil will be 3rd.
Taylor Hicks’ Play that funky music >>>>> Adam’s
uh..no.
I disagree.
Taylor’s version was fun. As that song is supposed to be.
Adam’s was just like some 80’s hair band nightmare with the lead singer screaming at me.
I think the guy has talent. But not as a recording artist. Go the broadway route. He’s got pipes and a lot of stage presence. He would do well there.
I agree with whoever said the save would be used for Allison. At the very least, and I am not wishing this on her, she could have her own disney show. A 16 year old with an adorable personality who can really sing. Best case, they recognize her long term potential and put develop dollars into her career. I cannot imagine they will let her go, I think they will try to keep her in the competition as long as possible for maximum exposure and then sign her. Why the underpimping? I just can’t figure it out.
Take these contestants from S7. David Cook. Jason Castro. Brooke White. Even Kristy Lee Cook. Did you have any doubt who any of them were musically?
Now take Adam. Who is he musically? A solo pop artist version of the Rocky Horror Picture Show?
But, more than the crazy theatrics what stands out more that anything is his lack of musical identity. Like I said, he’s an actor. Last week he was Elvis. This week he was John Travolta singing, oddly, like Meatloaf. Will anybody be surprised if next week, he comes out Cherry Poppin Daddies style with a swing performance in a hat and suit?
On top of that, the overpraise is starting to reach the early-season Danny-level….
This. The people in my playlist pwn Kris Allen in terms of being singer/songwriters. I’m sure 99% of the people here have never heard of any of them. Castro wasn’t my favorite last season for the very same reason. He can’t write a song worth shit. From what I’ve heard, Kris Allen can’t either. That’s so very key in this genre. It’s like 100 times more important than their voice or their looks.
My belated review:
01 Kris Allen – à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“Ainà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t No Sunshine When Sheà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s Goneà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ (Bill Withers) 26.5/30 (vocals – 9, stage presence – 8.5, song choice – 9) – I think he’s the REAL dark horse in this competition. An exceptional performance. He’s getting better every week.
02 Allison Iraheta – à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“Donà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t Speakà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ (No Doubt) 25.5/30 (vocals – 8.5, stage presence – 8.5, song choice – 8.5) – I must have been listening to something different from the judges because this was a great performance. Who cares what she’s wearing? She’s 16 years old and they all sound like doddering parents who have no clue.
03 Adam Lambert – à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“Play That Funky Music White Boyà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ (Wild Cherry) 24.5/30 (vocals – 9, stage presence – 8.5, song choice – 7) – More great vocals from Adam and he moves so effortlessly around the stage but I question his choice of song.
04 Danny Gokey – à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“What Hurts The Mostà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ (Rascal Flatts) 22/30 (vocals – 8, stage presence – 7, song choice – 7) – A decent vocal compared to most of the field but not his best performance, imo.
05 Scott MacIntyre -à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ Just The Way You Areà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ (Billy Joel) 21/30 (vocals – 7, stage presence – 7, song choice – 7) – Better than last week but that’s not saying much. There’s not a lot of variation in Scott’s repertoire and the judges have consistently ignored that flaw.
06 Anoop Desai – à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“Caught Upà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ (Usher) 19.5/30 (vocals – 7.5, stage presence – 6, song choice – 6) – Sorry Anoop, but you’re too clean-cut and nice a guy to do a song that needs a more aggressive, edgy attitude. Unfortunately, it does come across a bit “wannabe”. Solid vocals though.
07 Lil Rounds – à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“Surrenderà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ (Celine Dion) 19/30 (vocals – 6.5, stage presence – 7.5, song choice – 5) – Am I the only one who thought Lil was really straining to hit the high notes? Perhaps she doesn’t know her own strengths and weaknesses as well as everyone thought.
08 Matt Giraud – à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“You Found Meà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ (The Fray) 17/30 (vocals – 6, stage presence – 7, song choice – 4) – Another mess like the Coldplay debacle. He’s 0 for 2 in his attempts at pop-rock.
09 Megan Joy Corkrey – à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“Turn Your Lights Down Lowà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ (Lauren Hill/Bob Marley) 13.5/30 (vocals – 4, stage presence – 6.5, song choice – 3) – I didn’t think she could do worse than last week. I was wrong. You know she’s in trouble when her stage presence (i.e. her looks, in Megan’s case) accounts for nearly half her total score.
Jason had a better vocal tone? Eh, I disagree. I’d rather listen to Kris. Also, I think Kris can sing circles around Jason. They’re both vocally limited, but I feel a lot more power behind Kris’s singing.
Ok, you may be right. I can’t picture him winning at this point, and I really don’t know whether he has a career ahead of him. I just know that his ability to interpret songs in his style reminds me a little bit of David Cook, and he’s holding his own within the confines of this competition without so much as breaking a sweat. And with the exception of “Man in the Mirror” (which I thought was a hot mess), I’ve enjoyed all of his performances. However, he’s nowhere near David Cook’s level (and vocally, he’ll never be), and doing well on AI does not ensure a career afterward.
Yeah, I have to agree with that.
Jason has something that Kris lacks, but trying to explain it in words is near impossible. I would say to start with the eyes. It isn’t fair to Kris to be compared. Jason is like a Greek God! ;o) Now, Chris R. – that’s who I think Kris reminds me the most.
I know it may not be, but I don’t want Anoop to be in the Bottom Three. Megan please go home!
OK, my 8 year-old Grandson has been watching AI since he was 3 years old. Currently, he has Aerosmith’s Guitar Hero. Status: He’s a Rock Star.
We watched Adam’s performance and he said, “Grams, that guy rocks!” For what it is worth, Grammie thinks so too. Daughter comes in and says, “I like this look better than a couple weeks ago. Reminds me of Elvis. The guy has something going for him.”
The point it that THREE generations approved of this particular song from this particular contestant – Adam Lampert.
Honestly, I watched his performance and results from the judges three times and all I got was one sweet dude totally frustrated in trying to please the judges!
I am excited, yet worried right about now.
For the record, during their critiques of Anoop’s “Caught Up” performance, Randy said Anoop’s vocals were REALLY, REALLY GOOD & Paula also said Anoop’s vocals were REALLY GOOD.
