ETA: FAIL. There’s an update from VFTW—Malcom is probably not on the Top 50 list, but he did make it to Hollywood. I knew I should have waited for JoesPlace to verify. Heh.

Vote for the Worst has found one more name for the American Idol Season 8 rumored Top 50 list.

His name is Malcom Echaluce, he’s Filipino (although he recently became an American citizen) and is apparently friends with Season 7’s Ramiele Malubay.

Malcom is a geography major at Florida State University and enjoys gymnastics! Check out his Facebook fanclub.

According to his Facebook comments, he’s recorded some demos, but so far no samples of his singing have turned up…yet.
