You can see here that they all did The Yeager.

Thanks for the explanation on that. That was really funny.

Looks like they are trying to do some liquid dancing but failing, so you can’t really tell what they are doing. Liquid dancing with glowsticks is called glowsticking, so is probably the more appropriate term for what they did

I thought Cook got close on the glowsticking. The only thing he was missing was the throw-and-catch move. Plus he added some fancy footwork there that the guy in your glowsticking link didn’t have. Boy has some moves.

By the way, is it terrible that I almost started my response with “Well, for a white guy . . . “?

Sounds like you had a great time and really enjoyed most of the show, kathryn. Keep that necklace ready for this weekend’s show, maybe you’ll get to meet him this time around.

AH HAH. Jailbait for Johns link is not appearing…help. Dang it, I was really hoping she would email me. We live in the same town, it would be fun! Thanks. Please re-post link, fallforever??

Sorry, kathrynTX - Don’t know why this isn’t working. Try again (twice!):

Thanks for that link, fallforever. That was really sweet of DC to get her tickets and backstage passes.

Just asked this over on the other thread too that mj put up for my recap (awwww how nice!) –

Hey did anyone catch exactly what went on with the guy giving Cook a hard time? He was on the right-hand side of the stage (if you were ON the stage) and David had the spotlight follow him over to the guy right before My Hero, I think it was. Apparently, the guy was giving him some crap about his hand and arm gestures? Or something. David asked him “Are you telling me I’m DOING THAT?” The guy yelled back “OH YEAH!” David said something like “Oh gee, thanks for the hint! Someone has to tell you these things.” And then proceeded to make some very goofy exaggerated gestures at the start of the next song. I didn’t catch everything that was said.

Jason Yeager blogged about last night. He also has a new profile pic of the Horsemen, minus Luke Menard.

    Idol Reunion in Dallas

I have such a blessed life. Last night I went to see all my old friends again in Dallas. MJ was gracious enough to get me a ticket and backstage pass to the show. (Thank you again MJ) I haven’t seen these guys since the finale and even then, the chaos that ensued after the show was so great, I barely got a chance to talk to any of them. After I got inside I saw Stacy, MJ’s wife, and we said hello. She gave me a pass and took me to see Michael. Dave came out as well and we all chatted for a bit. Dave even gave me a sneak peak at some demos he’s working on for the new album! I was so glad to see my boys again. Missed Luke being there, it wasn’t quite the same. Carly came out and gave me a big hug, I was so happy to see “Tater”. Everyone was still the same as before. Michael had a grin on his face and said “We’ve got something special for you tonight Yeager..” And Dave started laughing and then Carly.

So I go take my seat and people start whispering and pointing. I still can’t get used to that. Both Chikezie and Carly gave a shout out to me during the show! But then the highlight was during the finale group number. Michael kept looking at me saying “just keep watching” and then at the very end of the song everyone did my little move I did on my last night! OMG I about peed my pants watching everyone bow their heads and pound their arms out to the side. That was the most hilarious thing and even though they were obviously making fun, it was so sweet of them to do that for me cuz they love me. And I just was so thankful at that moment to know each and everyone of them. We had the best time after the show joking about it all. I hung out with them as they did meet and greet with the fans. I felt like I should go but Carly insisted I stay. I didn’t want to take away from them and the fans. But Carly kept saying “come on!…come outside, its insane out there, its so much fun!” I didn’t think people would even care or remember me but the second her and I walked out the doors the fans went nuts! And she gave me a sharpie and there I was walking down a line of people wrapped halfway around the building with screaming fans. People were calling my name and asking about my son Nathan and about what I’m doing….I was speechless. It felt so good! People were like do you do pictures? Do you have time? I was like “of course!” I kept looking over at Carly and she was just signing and looking over at me and smiling…wow! She kept making me do “The move” for the fans so they could take pictures…ugh….lol. But I had a blast and then we went back inside and I walked with everyone to the bus as they loaded up and Carly gave me a slice of cold pizza that was so yummy! Carly, you really did make my night, and MJ, you are still the same great friend you’ve always been, and Dave, I am so proud of you for staying true to who you are and staying grounded through all of this. This was one of the most memorable nights of my life guys!!! I love you all…thank you so much for making me feel so special last night! What a blessed life I have….

OMgoodness! This blog brought tears to my eyes. How great for Jason! (The main thing I remember about him was that he wanted to show his son that you can really have your dreams come true.) I hope good things come his way!

Carly is just so sweet!!!! DC and MJ awesome. I love hearing others, who know DC, continuing to say he’s staying grounded and true to who he is.

I guess he couldn’t blog details about the demos! :wallbash_tb: LOL!

What a great blog from Jason Y! I’m so glad that he enjoyed catching up with his old friends and that the fans were so responsive to him. I loved reading the kind words he had to say about MJ, DC and Carly, it shows that to those who’ve met them before this Idol experience they are still the same people.

I’m with you cookcricket, I would have loved some deets about those demos, lol.

Awww-I loved reading Jason Yeager’s blog. It sounds like Carly was very sweet to him and he really appreciated it. I also liked when he called her Tater. I gathered from his blog that he’s very good friends with Michael, Carly, and David Cook (my three favorites). GO JASON!!!

I found this on TWOP part of a recap:

–During one of his songs he went over to one side and I guess a guy there was imitating DC singing. After the song he laughed and said “Is that what I look like?” Then he stopped the show, went over to the guy and had them put a spotlight on him and said “Sir, is this really what I was doing?”, and made a bunch of weird “singing” faces. The guy was like “Totally!” DC was laughing and said “Good to know. The first step is admiting you have a problem. Apparently I am the John Mayer of American Idol!” I really hope someone caught that on video.

Thanks for posting Jason Yaeger’s blog, Gwendolyn. I’m happy that he got to do the m & g. I almost got teary eyed reading about him being so touched that people wanted his autograph/pic. I had been wondering in Stacey was there visiting MJ and her family and that answered it.

Here is the video from Cookified Texan that shows Cook talking to the man who had been imitating Cook’s “funny” faces. See next posting.
