The Greenville American Idol Tour 2007 was most welcoming to it’s homeboy, Chris Sligh. Though he had an emergency root canal earlier in the day, Sligh did the upstate of SC proud. There was a slight mishap when Chris knocked over his guitar, but we’ll forgive him….he was probably still suffering the after effects of novicaine. I don’t know how loud the other cities were, but the noise was deafening at this concert.
I just have one question. Did Chris R throw what I THINK he threw into the crowd during the 2nd half?
Chris Sligh’s hometown show is TONIGHT.

I was excited for Chris too! I wouldn’t be surprised if he left something on his blog about the show.
I went to the tour last night too. It was really good. Chris S got a pretty nice applause but the crowd wasn’t sold out. I took some pictures and tried to get closer to the stage but the Event people made me go back to my seat. My cousins were working at the BiLo center earlier that day and they go to watch them rehearse and Chris Richardson and Blake came and talked to them. They recorded the conversation on their cell phones and took some pretty good pictures. They said that Blake and Chris were really nice. I thought the tour went well but I got tired of Chris R performing and I got tired of Sanjaya real quickly. I thought Lakisha and Melinda were’nt really “into” the crowd like the other ones were. I think the best vocal of the night was Jordin’s ballads at the end and Phil’s America song. :) It was a great tour overall. I could tell Chris S was very happy to be back in Greenville.
What did Chris R throw into the crowd? Do I even want to know? LOL.
