The American Idol Tour begins tonight (really, it does!) in Sunrise FL. Yeah, I know, who knew? With very little media fan-fair, the tour begins in Florida, with dates in Tampa tomorrow and Jacksonville FL Sunday night.
I’m sitting in a Starbucks in Tampa right now. I wont’ be at the show tonight, but WILL be at the Tampa show (thanks Spenser!) tomorrow night. And I may head over to the Jacksonville show Sunday night if I can score some last minute tickets.
In the meantime, just like last year, I’ll start a post for each concert where you all can chat about the show, and post any random items of news or gossip you might find.

Think many of the idols don’t get signed until mid way through the tour. Wasn’t it like this last year?
