  I’m glad for this! Michael seemed down last week and said he had gotten disappointing news, I assumed it was about a record deal. I’m glad this tour is happening for him, his tweets have gotten more positive!

  I am so happy for Michael. The Tour is not playing near me. But the last tour DID play in the Boston area, so maybe it will come here in 2010, too.

  And I *really* want to see Alexis Grace!!!

  David has a nice voice – I bought his single from itunes. I never saw him on idol but I liked him on Ellen. I don’t know much about the others except Michael.

  I am very happy for all of them doing this concert….They are all talented with good voices and very likable people. Michael I am the most happy for as he grew on me and I really wish him much success. Hopefully we will get videos of the concert tour…

  I would so go to this! I love David, Alexis, and Gina. I wish they were doing something in the LA area.

  Yay for Michael and Alexis!!! Have they ever done these shows with peeps that had not been in the top ten before?

  My favorite song from David H. last year was “Papa Was a Rolling Stone”. He toured with this group last year too and did a great job from the 1 or 2 vids I watched. I don’t know a thing about Gina.

  Again, great for Michael!

  Sounds like a great opportunity for Michael and Alexis. I really liked David Hernandez from Season 7 and thought he got voted off way too early.

  I am personally excited for this concert, as it begins in my city!:-D. I will try and go, but finances have been tight.
  Rickey’s info is not quite correct. Last year’s tour, according to some youtube videos I found, included Diana Degarmo, Kimberly Locke, David Hernandez, and his AI roommate, Chikezie. I am a Philnatic, and to my knowledge, Phil did not do any of last year’s, as he had his own appearances, unless he replaced one of the guys. I know for the recent Spring Break one, John Peter Lewis replaced Phil for at least 2 stops, and I think Carly Smithson took Gina’s place at least once.

  I liked Michael and look forward to his music. I do hope he signs soon, if he hasn’t already. I agree that Alexis was one of the best. I would have preferred her on the tour over Megan. And I also think David Hernandez has a nice voice. I liked Chikezie’s duet with Phil on “Wanted Dead or Alive” during this year’s Spring Break tour, and loved Gina with Phil during their season 6 tour with “It’s Your Love.” She sang “For Good” with Melinda during the Spring Break one. I did not attend last year’s holiday one, nor have I watched the videos; but I don’t think you will be disappointed with this year’s.:-)

  HI Yall, Its great there is another American Stars In Concert this year! I wish our Funky White Boy Elliott Yamin was going to be part of this show, but not to worry because I will be seeing our boy Elliott for Christmas at 107.5 The River Acoustic Christmas 2009 on Dec. 5, 2009 in Nashville, TN! I’ll be hanging out with Elliott all night long!!!! I’ll be flying from Sacramento, CA to Nashville, TN just to see the great one Elliott! I’m excited and I can’t wait to see Elliott!!!! American Stars in concert gives those American Idols that have not been on the road alot to do there thing on stage!

  I’m so glad for Michael and the rest of them.

  I hope Alexis gets some much needed exposure. Granted, I did find it really odd that people were placing her in the top 5 this season, but I think she deserved the tour more than Scott.

  I’ve always been a Gina fan. I love Alexis. But that’s where it ends. I thought David Hernandez was cheese and I have no l ove either for of the dudes on this show. So do I go and ignore crap while hoping for something a bit amazing from the two I find amazing? Or do I stay home and hope for videos from Alexis and Gina? And omg what’s a girl to do if they do cheesy compilations?

  I like Gina. I love Alexis. Those two dudes, well I detest them. I may go to this show. I probably won’t if I think they have more to do with it than the women. I can’t say at this point.

  Top 5 is a bit much, but IMHO she was better than Sarver, Megan, and Scott, and right there with Lil. She just did not “play the game” right. For example, she knows how to play the guitar, but did not bring it in country week. As a general proposition, musicians seem to go further. I think they intimidate most of us who can’t play music to save our lives.

  Well the Dec 9th concert is only 40 miles from me, but it is on a Wednesday night…mid work week…and the weather is quite unpredictable up here in Northern PA, especially when you have to drive thru the snowbelt to get to the concert….guess I will need to pass unless we are snow free that night.

  Not sure who LoveDaRocker mentioned, but I know my family thought Alexis Grace should have been in the top 10.
