I loved Neil Diamond week on Idol.

And this. Finn is such the perfect handsome, sweet, but slightly dumb lead swain, a classic theater type going back to Shakespeare. He needs a naughtier sidekick. Thus, Puck.

I would jump that in a half minute. Apparently 40something women have a chance you know. No pool, but I have a walk to shovel!

he does sound like a young neil diamond, doesn’t he, with his well-rounded rich baritone? i’m much more into this guy than finn, though will is my fav.

I love Puck. I agree with the comments about him being hot and complex. I also agree that he is a better character than Finn. He is way more interesting and smarter than Finn, is IMO. And I think that he is a better singer than Finn is. I enjoyed this performance of “Sweet Caroline”.

Buh buh buuuh….Puck yeah! Finn is adorkable and dreamy, Puck is hawt in a bad boy Robbie Williams look alike kind of way. I say why bother choosing between them? It’s all good…all good….all good. If you push me for a shippery answer, though, I’m on Team Baby Daddy/Baby Mama, and Team Adorkable Squared.

As a father if this fellow approached my daughter, I would deck him.

Ha, and you know that would make him even more irresistable to your daughter, right? Forbidden fruit, man… (Not that I speak from experience or anything)

A love pentagon, with Kurt! That’d be interesting. Well, it seems that Kurt is in love with Finn. Will he finally confess?

As for Puck, he’s really sly, and hot, even Quinn was mesmerized. Rachel, on the other hand, seemed to be enjoying Puck’s newfound interest in her, other than throwing slushies on her face, that is.

flicker, thanks for the link. fix was actually pretty good.. Puck has a better voice and is a more interesting character than Finn. (Geez, out of probably hundreds of auditions for the Finn part, couldn’t they find someone with a better voice than Monteith??)

I prefer Finn when he’s around Rachel.. he seems a lot dumber when he’s around Quinn. Although he did use Rachel.. but he does actually like her.. You know what, Will is my favorite. He’s good people. Good lookin people.

My theory is that Puck is trying to seduce Rachel so that Finn will realize that Rachel is the one he really wants and Puck can end up with Quinn. Puck is a lot smarter than he lets on. (Yikes, I feel like I’m back in high school myself!)

I really liked this. It’s nice to get to hear some of the other kids sing a full solo. And Neil Diamond was one of my first loves. “Musical Jewish icon.” ROTFLMAO.

Finn doesn’t do it for me so much – but he is lovable – he reminds me of the character Jason Segel played on Freaks and Geeks. (Which was also set at McKinley High I believe BTW!)

Yes!! That’s what I was thinking the whole time, haha. I’m beginning to like Puck a lot, although I still love goofy old Finn. Puck + Rachel is weird! but I think I’ll like it for one or two episodes, if that’s how long it lasts.
