Highlights:
- DAUGHTRY’s “It’s Not Over” is #1 on the Hot Adult Top 40 chart for the fourth week in a row. “Home” which is played at the end of every “Idol” elimination show, debuted on Hot Digital Tracks (#28).
- Elliott Yamin’s new single, “Wait For You” debuts on the Pop 100 Airplay chart. Elliott’s album drops this Tuesday, March 20.
- Carrie Underwood’s single “Before He Cheats” is heading its way up the Hot Adult Top 40 chart. It rose from #24 to #19. Her new single ”Wasted” is #6 on the Hot Country Singles chart. And it debuts on both Hot Digital Tracks (#44) and Hot Digital Songs (#49).
- Fantasia’s new single, “When I See U” (#18) and Ruben Studdard’s, “Make Ya Feel Beautiful” (#14) are both heading up the Hot Adult R&B Airplay chart.

Chris is also like the old Timex watch commercials. “he took a licking (when he was booted) and kept on ticking!” I noticed that Elliott’s presale of his CD was doing well on Amazon. Looks like he might have a winner coming down.
I hope Elliott’s album does well. It’s great to see so many from last season do well.
Isn’t it the truth, Bean! So many have done well and those that haven’t shown us anything yet have things in the works. Bucky Covington is doing well in Country Music and his CD is debuting next month and he is scheduled to have another appearance on Opry; this one will be televised. Ace also has a CD in the works. Mandisa, Paris, and Lisa have projects ahead of them or have dropped an album. Kellie is pretty close to going Gold. I wonder how many from this season’s crop will do even half as well as Season 5.
Chris Daughtry is awesome. Not much more I can say about that. Elliott, to be honest, never really got had my attention with or without his makeover. However, with so many people raving about his single, it wouldnt hurt to give him a shot. I gave Carrie a shot, and I love her CD.
Kellie’s already been certified gold. She was given the award the last time she was a guest cohost on The View.
