I’m way behind on my blogging. Sawry! I helped a college friend celebrate a birthday this weekend–a nice round number. Heh. Her husband booked the famed Stone Pony for the night! (Where Bruce Springsteen got his start.) It was pretty awesome. Much fun was had by all. Asbury Park rules!

This week’s Highlights (the short form)
- Target stores put their “Sounds of the Season” Christmas EPs on sale after Christmas, and Elliott Yamin came away the big winner. The CD bolted up the Billboard 200–from #132-#32 and was #1 on the Billboard holiday chart…
- Carrie Underwood’s single ”All-American Girl” debuts on the Hot 100 at #84. It debuts on the Hot 100 Airplay at #70.
- Jordin Spark’s duet with Chris Brown, “No Air”debuted on the Hot 100 at #95. It also debuts on the Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks chart at #27.
- Kimberley Locke has another Billboard #1. “Band of Gold” tops the Hot Dance Club Play chart. Now, if only her chart success could sell a few albums…

I couldn’t agree more about Kimberley Locke!! I wish she could sell more albums as well. It is a great CD. I am completely floored every week that she gets the airplay, but can’t get the sales….maybe her fling with Harvey will get her some attention…who knows!
Third place Idol contestants rule.
Kimberley was so obnoxious on Celebrity Fit Club that I think she may have lost fans because of it. I was neutral about her before the show but after watching her on the show, I would never, ever, ever spend one dime to support her.
gabam..that’s it… she comes off obnoxious and did so on the idol show too. P eople thought it was cute when she told Simon to suck it… I thought it was disrespectful and it turned me off. She’s the only idol whose album I haven’t bought.
