American Idols on the Billboard charts: Issue 09/22/07

Here are the highlights:

Bucky Covington’s new single “It’s Good To Be Us” debuts at #54 on the Hot Country Chart.
Elliott Yamin’s “Wait For You” debuts on yet another chart. It debuts at #42 on the Hot Dance Club Play chart.
Moving up the charts this week: Jordan Sparks’ “Tattoo” moves from #88 to #84 on the Pop 100 and from #45 to #48 on the Pop Airplay chart. Daughtry’s “Over You” moves from #44 to #38 on the Hot 100, #53 to #47 on the Hot 100 Airplay, #27 to #22 on the Pop 100, #20 to #16 on the Pop 100 Airplay, #13 to #11 on the Hot Adult Top 40, #48 to #36 on the Hot Digital Tracks and #54 to #40 on Hot Digital Songs.
Not only did all of the Idols’ sales numbers decrease this week, but it was the worst week for album sales in the history of Soundscan. Downloads were up 5%.
