Originally scheduled to drop November 29, Blake Lewis announces through his MySpace blog that the release date for his debut album “Audio Day Dream” has been postponed a week:
Hey everyone… My album just got pushed back to December 4th. We think it will be a better day for the release and its also taking some pressure off me, for getting this album done. I can’t wait to get it out!!!
And, More News:
I just got done making the documentry and shooting the pictures for the album cover. My two good friends, Ethan Newberry and Cisco McArthy have put together a nice 20 minute documentary, that hopefully will be packaged with the album. Its lookin great!
Gabrielle Revere shot the cover pictures and they turned out amazing! Also, Courtney James, a brilliant artist is helping me out with the design work for the cover. Everything is coming together smoothly and I couldn’t be more happy with this project.
Just under the wire! December 4th is 3 weeks before Christmas, with at least two weeks available for promotion…

I don’t know if this tidbit ever made it over here, but Chris Richardson posted a bulletin on myspace over the weekend saying he was going to L.A. to “help write some more” on Blake’s album. Then at some point he sent out another bulletin with this pic of them in the studio!

someone at TWOP said they heard on the radio that Jordin’s CD was being pushed back a week as well. her tv appearances listed on her official site which were for the week of November 20th including the GMA concert on the day of release were taken down from her site .
Oh man, sucks for her. She’ll miss Black Friday…
Yeah, that speculation was posted at Team Plaid, too. I wonder if that’s the reason behind Blake’s release being pushed back. I suppose we’ll hear something official soon, if it’s true.

I don’t think it’s a big deal. They will sell to their fans no matter what. I doubt the delays will hurt if their music catches on with the general public.
I just checked Jordin’s official page, and the 11/20 release date is still listed. As far as Blake is concerned, he seemed really relieved in his message about the date change as if someone had took the weight of the world off of his shoulders and so I can’t help but be happy for him.
