ohhhhhhhhh I like the way he performed here…His voice was clearer and his beatboxing seemed different…so much fun…I love this guy!

So much energy and he has such fun performing. Love it. He was really cute with the “going commando” vs. Ellen underwear too.

    This just in from HDD:

I still maintain I will take the “over” bet for Blake, compared to Jordin.

He’s sounding a lot better… maybe he’s almost completely past the bronchitis?

I liked that performance the best of all of them so far.

Holy bow tie! That boy is a spaz. He definitely sounds better than he did the other day.

I tried to watch the AOL Session of “How Many Words” because I really like that song but I kept cracking up at the hand motions and earnest expressions and the voice wasn’t quite there for me. I’ll just listen to the mp3. :smile1_tb:

Loved it! He sounded great and the performance was fun. LOL at Ellen telling him with a little more energy, he’d be fine.

    Thanks, MJ!

I can’t believe how the live peformance of this comes off more like a rock song than hip hop/r&b. I totally didn’t expect that.

This is a LOT better than his recent ones. Go Blake!

Ooooh. Thanks Star. I saw the bulletin about that video earlier, but couldn’t watch it at the time and forgot about it by the time I got home. Had no idea it was “Emotional Waterfalls.” :)

I agree about the live performance of Break Anotha. I attribute it to the band.

ETA: Cheese, I wonder if “How Many Words” will be the next single. Someone said it’s beating “Break Anotha on iTunes.

    NEWS FlASH!!

Our good friend Chris Sligh has just revealed that Blake’s goal for A.D.D. is 5 million

“I don’t like everything on his album and it’s not necessarily “my style” but I respect him a great deal for making an album he wanted to make. I do know that his goal for this record is 5 million, which I guess is possible if he can have several hit singles in a row. We’ll see. “

Well, no offense to Sligh, but I’m not taking that seriously until I hear Blake himself say it. And Blake’s already been asked, and wouldn’t say…so I’m sure he appreciates Sligh putting it out there for him.

But even if it’s true, so what? Nothing wrong with having high goals for yourself. Everyone should.

LOL, Jobbix. I’m not doubting you, but can you provide a source? Thanks.

I agree. But America likes its Idols to be humble and follow the “aww shucks” script. Not that Sligh’s comment will matter in the end, other than providing snark material.
