 
When David Archuleta mentioned in his interview with the Johnjay and Rich show that he was staying at Brooke White’s house in LA while she was visiting her family in Arizona, the hosts wondered why she hadn’t stopped by yet. She finally did drop by the Z100 studios in Phoenix and you can listen to her radio interview HERE.
Brooke tells the morning crew that since she’s been home, her phone has been ringing off the hook and that she’s “got a slew of things” in the pipeline, “A lot of opportunities,” she says. Brooke hints at interest from record labels, and says her goal is to have an album out within a year. “Meetings are definitely happening,” she says, “I’m not worried anymore…it’s going at a perfect pace for me.”

Fun tidbit! Brooke wanted to sing Daughtry’s “It’s Not Over” on American Idol.
About her houseguest, David Archuleta, Brooke says, “David is the hardest working teenager I’ve ever met…he’s completely lovable…he’s this sweet looking kid with this amazingly mature voice.”
When the crew observes that David is a bit of a people pleaser, Brooke says, “I think he’s getting strong…he’s getting better at talking up, and saying what he needs to say to stand up for himself, and that’s what you need to learn to do [in this business].”
In case you were wondering, Archie makes his bed everyday. Heh.
Later on in the interview, Brooke works out the melodies of popular songs on a keyboard by ear. She finishes the interview discussing her work with Malaria No More.

Aww, it would have been interesting to watch Brooke sing It’s Not Over, at least that’s not a 50-year-old song.

I just loved this! Brooke is just so comfortable. I bet she is the type of person that you could visit and be right at home. She seemed really happy and content and the Archie stuff was just icing on the cake!
I really like Brooke. I would like her much more if she had more than a 10 note range. I am truly not one who thinks the voice/range is the be all end all, but her voice and her range truly do nothing for me. I really like her though. If she wrote some awesome songs, that would do it for me.
I like her, I will love to listen to her music in an small venue… that will be a great experience…and I love how sweet she is to David…

I loved hearing the interview. I have missed hearing Brooke and seeing her on my TV and can’t wait to see what is next in her future in terms of music. I too love her motherly type nature towards Archie. That part about her making up the bed in the hotels and her revealing to the world that Archie makes his bed everyday made me love her even more. :D
I just think Brooke is a ray of sunshine. I think she’s also very marketable in a Cobie Caillat/Sara Bareilles/Corinne Bailey Rae singer/songwriter kind of way. Good luck, Brooke!
I like Brooke…she has that easy listening voice that would go well with easy listening music…you know, music you’d play while just lounging around the house doing nothing, working on your computer, tinkering with stuff and just singing along…….ya know what i mean….
Brooke is an incredibly talented singer/songwriter and an all-around beautiful person, inside and out! I can’t wait to hear some new music from her. :)
I am lad to hear that she may be getting signed. Brooke was my absolute favorite this year, followed by Cookie, Amanda and Jason. If all 4 of them get to put out new music, I will be beyond thrilled.
