There’s a rumor that the debut album from American Idol winner, Candice Glover, has been pushed back from its July 16 release date to August 27.
Candice has been working on the album steadily since she was crowned the American Idol on May 16. The summer tour, which was due to start at the end of June has officially cancelled 10 dates and won’t begin until July 19.
According to Candice, the songs have been chosen, and a new single will go out ahead of the album release. Perhaps, this is why the album would be delayed. A new single, with a radio push can only help sales. Candice recently previewed a snip of a song for her fans.
Candice is such a special talent, I really hope Interscope doesn’t drop the ball and provides solid promotion for her debut.
