  Archie, unlike Clay, doesnà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t seem to care about it

  It was his fans that cared about it. Clay can’t be blamed for that any more than Archie, Cookie, Taylor or any other celebrity should be blamed for the behavior of their fans.

  I have to wonder too, have any of the ones that peg Clayà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s music as this or that ever listened to his new album? It is very contemporary and with any label support he would have fit in just fine on pop radio.

  Since you’re asking, I listened to it, I even bought it. I didn’t like it. I don’t think it’s contemporary or that it would fit in on pop radio. Just an opinion – from someone who did listen to it.

  Exactly. Ità ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s called c-o-m-e-d-y. I take it with a grain of salt.

  Same here, I think Kathy’s funny most of the time. Now and then she crosses the line (for me anyway) but I didn’t think she was all that hard on Clay.

  This latest bit from yahoo, I don’t get it – was it a joke, or serious? I can’t tell.

  David A does handle criticism well. If his fans stay calm and don’t get too defensive, it will all work out fine over time, imo.
