Wow, even Carrie misses some notes.
The start of ‘All American Girl’ was rocky at best, proof that it was at definitely performed live.
As for ‘Flat on the Floor’…this could be her most intense performance to date. Did anyone else sense the Clark Bros’ influence in tht song??
Carrie completely rocks. You can tell she loves the music on her new album and all of the touring is certainly paying off. Of course my personality might sparkle just a little more if I spent a couple of months on the road with Keith Urban…wouldn’t make me sing any better, but I would sparkle more…
Flat on the Floor was an awesome rocking performance! One of her best I think! Loved it!!
Ah crap, I totally forgot about this… I was watching the Tennessee/Memphis game (GREAT game! Go Vols!!!), and by the end of that I was so emotionally exhausted that I just went to sleep. LOL. Thanks for putting up the videos!
“Flat on the Floor” has always been my favorite of the songs I’ve heard off that album (no I still haven’t bought it yet). I do hope that it is the next single. :)
Carrie looked amazing as usual. Flat on the Floor kicked ass, one of my favorite songs on the album, along with JAD. All American Girl was not very good. Carrie butchered a few notes and also seemed a bit breathless. However, she came back strong with FOTF. Good job.
JSG - Very astute observation! Loved that song. I think I will have to finally get this album. Great job, Carrie.
Too late to add to above post. Congrats to Carrie!
The post-strike return of NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” scored the show’s highest overnight rating in two years.
Hosted by former “SNL” cast member/head writer Tina Fey and featuring Carrie Underwood as the musical guest, the show delivered a 4.1 rating/15 share in metered-market households — the highest average since a Feb. 4, 2006 episode hosted by Steve Martin. That’s also up 36% from the show’s pre-strike average this season.
