Carrie Underwood - Grand Ole Opry

I thought you guys might enjoy the videos from Carrie Underwood’s appearance on the Grand Ole Opry Saturday night. Not only did she perform three songs (she opened and closed the show) she was surprised by an invitation from Randy Travis to join the Opry, at which point, Carrie got all weepy. Check it out below.

“I Told You So” and a surprise invitation from Randy Travis to join the Grand Ole Opry. Carrie’s induction is scheduled for May 10.

After the jump, Carrie performs “All American Girl” and “Crazy Dreams” from her album Carnival Ride.

This is an incredible and prestigious honor to receive after less than 3 years in the industry. This alone gives her a place in country music history (not to mention all the awards she has already won) and there is so much more to come! Way to go Miss Carrie Marie Underwood!! She has certainly done American Idol, herself, her family, and all her fans proud! I couldn’t be happier for her!!

Good for her! What an awesome career she’s had so far, so many hits! Somebody knows how to pick great songs! I’m happy for her, too. I hope she’s able to stay wholesome and true to her family roots.
