  • Carrie Underwood never saw her on American Idol only saw her the first time on a music video and must say the camera loves Carrie and her videos are quite good. The problem I saw her first time on a live preformance and the sparkle was not as aparent. It is wierd and maybe makes no sence to all but Something is just not there for me in the live preformances .
    (ok I ramble)

Jordan is cute I just think her dresses remind me of prom.

  • Hmm, I was suddenly reminded of why I tended to find Jordin annoying on AI. I like her now, and she mostly seems like a sweet girl, but maybe I need to watch her talk less… heh.

  • deleted because I should have quoted (or something like that) and now can’t…I’ll try again

Have I ever told you how much I hate these kind of shows? Does anybody even care.

    Obviously, yes.

This caused me a bit of confusion because I didn’t think you cared about my views, but then I realized you didn’t understand that my “Does anybody even care?” comment was about my statement that I hate awards shows and had nothing to do with whether anybody loves awards shows.

I know people love these shows or they wouldn’t be on your telly. I just happen to find them rather silly. It’s all good…tis what makes the world go round.

  • I usually like Carrie’s songs but this song to me was terrible. Seriously I couldn’t even listen to it, it literally hurt my ears and I had to turn the volume very low. I kept waiting for some kind of melody, rhythm, anything to connect to and I just couldn’t find it. Of course I’m no expert at these things, but she did look beautiful although my 13 year old who was wathching with me (and also disliked the song) thinks it’s time for a new hairstyle.

  • Carrie looked and sounded stunning last night. She deserves every award she’s ever received. How I wish she would hook up with David Cook … talk about stunning!

  • Is it just me or does Carrie always have multiple outfits for events like these?

  • Whoa. Absolutely floored by Carrie’s performance. She was incredible….but what else is new? lol

  • She hasnà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t forgotten her roots either, last night she made a comment about how people voting for her are what gave her a career in the first place and was thanking people for continuing to vote for her. She seems really sweet and she deserves everything sheà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s gotten.

I noticed that too. I thought it was really sweet and shows that she hasn’t let this whole money/fame thing go to her head. She’s still grounded.

I liked Carrie well enough on her season, but I was primarily a Bo fan. I liked Some Hearts to an extent, but I really love Carnival Ride, and actually listen to it pretty frequently. She’s really come a long way in terms of stage presence and ability to really connect to a song. And she’s always had the voice. I’m definitely a fan. Love her.

Congrats to Jordin and Chris Brown! I love “No Air” and cheered when they won. :) I know it’s a longshot but I hope it wins the Grammy too.
