Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher will reportedly tie the knot today at 5:30 pm at the Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation, in Greensboro, Georgia.
Last night, a rehearsal dinner was planned, topped off by a fireworks display.
Carrie and Mike have rented out the entire lodge for their 500K wedding. Non-wedding guests were served with letters informing requiring them to leave the premises by noon on Friday. Carrie was supposed to arrive at the Ritz by helicopter on Friday.
Tents have gone up, and roadways and watersways will be blocked off to keep out the paparazzi. Carrie reportedly has signed a photo deal with a major weekly magazine.
The guest list includes Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Paula Abdul, Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kellie Pickler. Guests will be staying in rooms that range from $300-$1500 a night. The happy couple will spend their first night together as husband and wife in the $4, 000 5400 sq ft Presidential House.
I’ll update this post with more details when them become available.
