   Oh I don’t think this is stupid! Very clever to tie it to “Before He Cheats”. I think this is going to strike a chord big time. Except for the marriage, there are millions of women that have experienced those emotions at one time or another to some degree. I think this song will be huge!

   I heard “Before He Cheats written all over this. I don’t like it though. It ’s a step down from her morals. IMO. Of course, it will be a hit, but, I think it sucks.

   I think the song is pretty stupid, actually. I usually like Carrie but not this one.

   I don’t think there’s anything “wrong” with it though, it’s not really racy and she’s 25, not 15.

   I don’t think it has anything to do with her age, but, her image. She was always seen as this wholesome, country girl, and, this just crosses the line, IMO. It’s like the song, “Your Good Girls Gonna Go Bad.”

   Who cares…it’s just a song. It happens, people can identify with it…that’s what music is all about. If you can’t identify with it then here’s a gold star for you!!!
   And obviously, it hasn’t happened to her because she hasn’t been married and hasn’t been arrested for destruction of property. I agree with the bangs comment…I like her hair with a little less Aquanet.

   I like AAG the best of Carrie’s videos.

   I just read over on another board that “Some Hearts” was recently certified 7 times plantinum and is now the best selling debut album by any female in country music history. WOW that’s amazing.

    I actually LOVE this song! IT has HIT written all over it.

    It won’t be long before it is all over country radio. I admire Carrie for keeping things fresh and daring to change…

    She is definitely one great country artist.. She will have a Faith Hill type of career for sure.. Go Carrie!!

    I think “Last Name” is clever… I love the twist at the end, with the “I don’t even know MY last name!” Cute video, Carrie looks so glam and Vegasy.

    It had promise at the beginning when it was supposed to tie in to Before He Cheats, but what was it, like 3 months earlier, so it’s a marriage that’s ending.

    Sorry. I’m a songwriter, and it doesn’t make logical sense.
    Yes, I know it’s going to be another huge hit.
    I’m just nit-picking.

    In my opinion, it doesn’t go well with the other story.
    Those two stories don’t go together.
    They’re each stand-alone.

    I regularly surf through the many country stations here, and this song is already getting a lot of air play. It is catchy and racy, and I think it will be a hit. Country stations/fans love everything Carrie does. At least the video doesn’t show what the song describes: a wild drunken night.

    Probably a huge hit. Not a very believable video- most people too drunk to remember the night before don’t look that good.

    Seriously? This video doesn’t show a “wild drunken night” I feel like the song described a wild drunken night more than the video showed…..they don’t really go together, you know?
