Carrie Underwood – Oprah Winfrey – VIDEO
Carrie Underwood appeared on Tuesday’s Oprah with a few other country music superstars like Kenny Chesney and Sugarland.
The show, taped in late March pre-dates Carrie’s triumph at the ACMs, but there’s a taped segment at her home in Nashville where she talks about songwriting, her dog Ace and keeping fit.
In a sit down with Oprah, Carrie tells tales of grocery shopping late at night in her sweats and glasses and folks telling her, “hey, you look like Carrie Underwood!”
Later, she performs “Just a Dream”.

It’s Carrie 2nd time performing on the show and doing a sit down interview. There was 1 other time she was shown but that was a 15 second clip talking about Walmart.
The video clip was cool. Carrie seemed more confident and take charge showing what her life’s like. She’s usually a lot more deferential when she’s doing one on one interviews. The part with Ace is adorable! I loved getting a little peek into a songwriting session too. That’s Hillary Lindsey and Luke Laird that Carrie’s shown writing with. Carrie sounds so pretty with just her voice and a guitar. She had a good performance too, but the CMA performance of Just A Dream was more emotional.

I’ve watched the video of “Just A Dream” a dozen times, and have seen several TV performances of the song, and I get chills and tear up every time. Carrie is awesome.

Both those performances were on the same show. It was an i-Tunes special show with Josh Groban, Carrie, and Tony Bennett with Michael Buble as his special surprise guest. They had their separate performances then they came back and sang For Once In My Life together.

Wow… Carrie is just amazing… amazing. But i think it was weird when Oprah said that Carrie was going to sing her new hit. It is not THAT new hahaha.
Wow, he label is really trying to push her album above the 3 mil mark, I think. Good for her! That is quite the accomplishment these days.
hardcandy–I agree w/ you. She’s soo pretty & sweet, but she seems like a Stepford wife so much of the time…like, just way too perfect like it’s all an act, you know?
But I still love Carrie!
