Idols in the Mags - Carrie Underwood - The Chrace Edition!

 Carrie Underwood and Chase Crawford

The big news in the rags this week is the break-up of Carrie Underwood and Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford. I barely knew they were dating. The mags breathlessly quote “sources” from both camps.  Their busy schedules kept them apart!  Carrie was needy!  Chace likes the ladies!  In US, there’s even a side bar that addresses “Those Gay Rumors.”  About Chace, that is. Heh. Can’t cover a pretty boy in Hollywood without covering the gay rumors.

Read the gossip for yourself, after the jump.

Late Night Talk Shows Back In Production

The late night talk shows have gone back into production as of Wednesday night. They went dark when the Writers Guild of America East and West went on strike against the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers in mid-November.

What does it mean for the Idols? Jordin Sparks, Blake Lewis and Carrie Underwood can re-schedule appearances that were canceled when the strike began–at roughly the same time they dropped their albums and began promtional tours.

Blake Lewis is scheduled for the Tonight Show with Jay Leno TONIGHT. He’ll appear on the Jimmy Kimmel Show Tuesday, January 8 and on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Thursday January 10. Continue reading ‘Late Night Talk Shows Back In Production’

  • On the Billboard 200: Jordin Sparks debut drops on the chart, from 24-26. But sales increase by 17%. Sales are 62K for a total of 286K. I predict this one will sell slow and steady. Sales are 57,900 for a total of 155,591. Kellie Pickler’s “Small Town Girl” hangs on this week at #200.

Oh, Jordin finally turned 18 on December 22. She’s no longer “OMG Only 17!!!111!”. Thank Jeebus.
