Love me some Daughtry. Can’t wait for the new CD.

Adam has replaced Chis in my fangirly heart, but I’m still looking forward to hearing the new Daughtry and seeing some shows.

  • wordnerdarchie:

Why does he sound like the chipmunks? A little bit too much auto-tuning?

  • maracaibo:

The art cover is AWESOME. Very very cool.
I am sure Chris will sell lots of albums once again.

  • JJ123:

I’m very excited about the new video!! All the boys are looking HOTTTT!!!!! This will be the first one that they’re acting in, usually they’re just playing the song so that’s very cool!! It was shot in a quarry in So Cal….I seen some pics of Chris driving a kick ass Camaro….can’t wait to see more of that!!!

The album cover looks great too!! I’m just so excited that all this is finally happening!! I loved the first CD but new stuff is long overdo and I’m waiting on the edge of my seat :)

  • bean99:

I like the cover a lot and the clip of the video. Very cool.

  • kimberann:

    Very cool cover!!

  • duncan:

Can’t wait!! Love me some Daughtry!

  • Suzanne:

What an incredible cover! Haunting, yet inviting.

Re: the song–maybe it will grow on me but it still sounds kind of high for him.

  • breakdown:

The cover is awesome and so is Daughtry. MJ, just a slight correction. The video will be premiered on vh1.com. It’s not the tv premiere.

  • isisdagmar:

Does anyone else feel like Daughtry’s music is really bland and Nickelback-ish? It’s not that it’s bad–it’s catchy–but it doesn’t seem like particularly special or interesting music.

  • Hazehel:

I think “No Surprise” is not a good song, really a bit boring. And if this is the best song on the album I don’t think the album will get anywhere near the sales of his first album, and no multiplatinum sales this time.

  • WestiesRule:

I need to hear the whole album before I comment. I hope Chris pulls it out. I really like him. At least he’s living his dream. I stuck here in my living room relishing the fact that schhol is over in 3 weeks and maybe I can retire in 5 years! Maybe I can make my album then…. LMAO!

  • weareallinnocent:

Love the cover. The song and video snippet, at this point, meh. Sorry~

  • leome:

Not a big fan of the cover, the part of the guys reminds me a lot of the All American Rejects cover… but I like the new Daughtry symbol/font. I think it’s cool.

Still hoping that after 3 years and millions of albums the rest of the songs are better and a bit more original than No Surprise.

  • lovegoodmusic:

I like Daughtry and can’t wait to buy his new album. And the video should be interesting as long as Chris Daughtry plays a major role in it. I like their new single “No Surprise”, so I can’t wait to hear the rest of the album.

  • clee1107:

i love an album cover. It’s cool. I wasn’t a huge fan of Daughty, but now I’m a fan and I cannot wait to buy new album.

  • Allison:

To me the focus on that cover is the second guy on the right. It seems odd.

  • duncan:

Just heard them playing “No Surprise” on Regis and Kelly.

  • Does this mean that he will have to get the tattoo on his back redone in the new font? ;-)
